The words Sandy wanted to say were caught between her lips. After a moment, she softly replied, "Alright, I'll accept it. Thank you."
"Wishing you a happy marriage and eternal happiness!"
"May you find happiness too!"
Anthony didn't say anything more and hung up the phone.
Sandy put away her phone, sighed lightly, and carefully stowed away the items. "Brandon is definitely going to be jealous."
Just as Sandy finished speaking, the doorbell rang.
Stella got up to answer the door.
Seeing Brandon standing at the door, Stella was somewhat surprised. "Why did you come over?"
"I came to see Sandy, I'll leave in a bit."
Stella moved aside to let Brandon in.
When Sandy saw Brandon, she stood up and greeted him, "Why did you come?"
Brandon lowered his voice, "Missed you."
Sandy glanced behind Brandon in alarm, but there was no sign of Stella at the door.
The door was closed, leaving only Sandy and Brandon in the room.
"They say you shouldn't meet on the eve of a wedding, and yet you came," Sandy said, though she still took his hand and led him to sit on the sofa.
"Viteto doesn't follow that tradition," Brandon replied quietly, his gaze falling on the gift box placed aside. "What's this?"
Sandy's gaze fell on the delicate box on the bed, and she sighed softly, "Brandon, if you had appeared in my life a bit later, the groom today might not have been you."
Sandy didn't say this to intentionally upset Brandon; it was just a heartfelt sentiment.
Apart from Stella and Brandon, perhaps only Anthony had regarded Jane's life with such importance.
But what she could offer Anthony was extremely limited.
Upon hearing Sandy's words, Brandon guessed almost immediately, "Given by Anthony?"
Sandy nodded. "A high-end villa in the center of Viteto City, worth millions, right?"
Brandon didn't respond to Sandy immediately. He picked up the gift box from the side, opened it, and looked at it. When he saw the property address on top, he raised an eyebrow. "Mr. Austin seems to be very considerate."
Sandy nodded. "Unfortunately, I have nothing to repay him with, so I can only treat him as a very special person."
Brandon placed the property certificate back into the box. "Keep it. When he gets married in the future, we'll return the favor."
Sandy was surprised by Brandon's attitude. "Aren't you jealous?"
"I am. I'm practically green with jealousy," Brandon admitted, pulling Sandy closer to him. "But I can't deprive others of their admiration for you. I can only love you more so you won't be swayed by others."
Sandy met Brandon's gaze, a small smile curving her lips. She leaned in and kissed him. "No matter what others say or how good the outside world seems, I only want you."
Hearing Sandy's words, Brandon's brow twitched. He pulled her into an embrace and peppered her with kisses.
Since they were in Stella's room, Sandy didn't want things to get too heated. She allowed Brandon to indulge for a moment before gently pushing him away. "Did you come here just to see me?"
