Connie hated such types of people. After her father cheated, her mother suffered from depression. Later, her mother committed suicide by jumping off the building. So, hearing Neve's words, Connie felt a little bit sorry for Neve.
"Is there anything I can do for you?" asked Connie.
Neve seemed to hesitate. "Connie, I feel a little better after talking about this with you. But I'll handle it myself."
Connie said, "If you think of me as a friend, let me help you, I hate home wreckers!"
Connie sounded a bit excited and angry.
On the other side of the phone, Neve, who was sitting on a high chair with a red wine glass, smiled slightly. She said, "But Connie, you are not her opponent. Even I dare not offend her. She has something against Zane. And she is hooking up with Ivan."
Connie snorted coldly, "Naturally, we can't deal with such a person in the usual way."
"Connie, is there anything you can do to keep her from pestering Zane?" Neve asked softly, "I'd do anything to get her to divorce Zane."
Speaking of this, Neve's voice became softer again, "By the way, there are many artists on this show I'm doing. They are currently recruiting a make-up team, Connie, if your team is available. I'd like to recommend you."
While exposing her trouble to Connie, Neve gave Connie something in return.
No one would want to be Neve's enemy if they knew what she was capable of.
Not even Connie, who was seemingly shrewd.
Neve reminded Connie of the thing she hated the most with just one sentence and made Connie a loyal ally.
Connie's make-up team usually worked for crew and TV shows. But a while back, one of the makeup artists offended Sandy. After that, they hardly got any work offers.
So, Neve's proposal was a great gift that warmed Connie.
"Don't worry, it's on me. I won't let her pester Mr. Lawrence again."
"Thank you, Connie, but you don't have to bother yourself with it if it's too much work."
Connie replied, "Don't worry, I'll find a solution."
Neve agreed, "I'll ask the program team to contact you directly when the time comes."
"Okay, thank you."
Neve responded softly, "Isn't that what friends are for? You don't have to thank me. Catch you later then."
After that, Neve paused for a few seconds, "I got to go now. See you."
Connie hung up the phone.
After putting away the phone, Connie looked coldly at Yanis, who was sitting inside.
Bonnie came back half an hour later.
"Miss Lowe, I am sorry for keeping you waiting."
Connie smiled, "It's okay, good things are worth waiting for."
Bonnie laughed, "I'll get you the picture."
Connie nodded, "Okay."
Bonnie went inside with her bag, "Why is Ivan here?"
Yanis responded, "We plan to go to the University of Armstrong after you come back."
Bonnie put the bag aside, "Don't mention it, the bride is pregnant. She didn't know her belly would be so big until she put on the dress and found it tight today."
As she spoke, Bonnie took a glass of water and took a few gulps, "I think she gets twins. Her belly was unreasonably big."
"So, you solved the problem?"
Bonnie raised her eyebrows and looked at Ivan, "Of course. There is nothing I can't solve."
