Yanis was back in Linen Bay with Bonnie.
Although it was empty, it was a home.
Yanis' phone rang just as they walked in the door.
Yanis didn't even look at it and muted the phone. Then she threw it away.
Bonnie took one look at Yanis and then reached for the phone. "If you don't want to answer it, turn it off."
Yanis said, "I don't feel well. I think I'm getting my period. I'm going to the bathroom."
Then Yanis turned around and went into the bathroom.
In fact, after Antonio kicked her in the supermarket, Yanis had been experiencing a dull pain in her abdomen. It felt like the pain just before her period.
That was why Yanis thought she might have her period.
But when Yanis went into the bathroom, she realized that she had nothing there.
Yanis walks out again. "Bonnie, do you have a tampon in the car?"
Bonnie was checking Yanis's bed. "Are you having your period?"
Yanis responded, "it should be."
Bonnie came out of her room. "Yes. I'll get it for you if you give me a second."
"Ok."
After Bonnie left, Yanis went back to her bedroom and lay down as she started to feel more and more pain in her abdomen. She was waiting for Bonnie to come up.
It only took about three or four minutes to get down the stairs and back up again, but Yanis felt it was so long like like a century had passed.
Just as Yanis gritted her teeth to get up, the pain hit her again and made her frown.
Luckily, Bonnie came back. "Yanis, I got it. Luckily, I left one in the car from last time."
Yanis bent over her back because of the pain, rushed out of the room, picked up her tampon, and headed to the bathroom.
After that, Yanis took her clothes and took a shower.
But the pain in her abdomen didn't go away.
When the sofa delivery man arrived at 3 pm, Yanis was in so much pain that she could hardly speak.
Bonnie frowned as she looked at Yanis. "I'll stay here and ask Ivan to take you to the Hospital, ok?"
Yanis was now in too much pain to think about anything and responded yes in a low voice.
Fortunately, Ivan just drove a client back somewhere near Linen Bay.
When he got a call from Bonnie, he came as fast as he could.
"Where's Yanis?"
"She's in her room. Her period just came, and she is in a lot of pain."
Ivan didn't have many women friends around him, but he knew a lot about women's menstrual cramps.
Ivan strode to her bedroom.
Yanis was lying on the bed with a pale face and her eyes were wandering.
"Yanis?" Ivan helped her sit up. "Do you feel a lot of pain?"
Yanis didn't even have the strength to speak. She just nodded.
"Bonnie, get a coat."
Bonnie answered, grabbed a coat from the closet, and handed it to Ivan, "I'll be there when the couch is done."
Ivan said ok, put the coat on Yanis, and walked out with Yanis in his arms.
"Call me if you need anything."
