For a moment, Ivan was speechless.
Indeed, they had pasted that ages of impulse.
Some decisions shouldn't be made on impulse.
He had thought of what Bonnie said. His family would never accept Yanis.
The fact that Yanis was divorced was enough to stop him from thinking further.
Not to mention that she was pregnant now.
Bonnie looked at Ivan's sad face, and patted him on the shoulder lightly, "Go back."
Ivan frowned, "If my mother says something bad, say sorry to Yanis for me."
Bonnie looked at him, "If you don't insist on Yanis, Mrs. Baxter won't talk harshly to Yanis."
After speaking, Bonnie paused, "Mr. Baxter, I hate to discourage you, but you and Yanis are impossible."
Hearing what Bonnie said, Ivan looked at her.
Bonnie turned and left.
Ivan stood at the elevator door for a long time before he left numbly.
In the room.
Madison and Mila had ordered food. When Bonnie and Yanis came in, Madison handed the menu to Yanis and Bonnie, "Mila and I have decided, what do you two want to eat?"
No one mentioned Ivan again.
As if Ivan hadn't appeared here just now.
Yanis and Bonnie made some random orders and handed the menu to the waiter.
"Ivan has gone back. Let's eat." In the end, Madison explained.
Yanis and Bonnie knew what happened, but pretended that they didn't.
It was a pleasant meal.
Mila didn't talk much, maybe because she didn't know them well.
So every time Madison spoke, Mila answered shortly.
Unless Madison mentioned her, she wouldn't speak.
Her manners were on point.
After eating, Madison went to pay the bill.
Yanis, Bonnie, and Mila waited there.
"Lady Yanis, can I talk to you?" Mila suddenly looked at Yanis and asked aloud.
Bonnie's good impression of Mila just now reduced a little bit.
"Miss. Hope, what do you want to talk to Yanis? Can I hear?"
Mila looked at Bonnie with a slight smile, "Ms. Cooke, I just want to chat with Lady Yanis."
Just as Bonnie was about to speak, Yanis stopped her, "Okay, let's go outside."
"Yanis."
