I Become A CEO After Divorce novel Chapter 392

Chapter 392 Let’s Toast Your Engagement

Zane originally wanted to say more, but after thinking about something, he swallowed his words and said, "We will talk about it when we meet."
"All right," said Yanis.
She hung up the phone, washed up briefly, and changed her clothes.
Bonnie arrived as soon as Yanis finished everything.
As soon as Bonnie saw Yanis, she said, "You look good."
Yanis looked at Bonnie and asked, "Really?"
Bonnie nodded seriously and said, "Did you look at yourself in the mirror just now?"
Yanis hummed.
"Don't you realize you are so fabulous now?"
Yanis sat down on the sofa tiredly, "I dreamed of Sameer Miller again last night."
When Bonnie heard Yanis's words, she sighed, stepped forward, and sat down next to Yanis. She gently hugged Yanis and comforted her softly, "It's all over, don't keep thinking about it."
"I haven't thought about it, but I still dream about it occasionally," replied Yanis.
"We can go and see the Miller family in the future," Bonnie said.
Yanis hummed, "Okay. Mia called me two days ago to tell me that her mother is much better and has been discharged from the hospital."
Bonnie said, "By the way, I heard from Myles that Allan came out. I asked Myles to tell him to take care of the Miller family."
After hearing Bonnie's words, Yanis looked at her and asked, "Allan?"
"Yes, it should be Allan," said Bonnie.
Yanis hummed, "I'll confirm with Myles."
Bonnie responded, "Okay, call him later."
"Let's go. Don't let Ivan and the others wait for us," said Yanis.
Bonnie nodded, stood up, and pulled Yanis up from the sofa. "Did you tell Zane about the dinner with Ivan?"
"He knows," said Yanis.
"Is he jealous?" asked Bonnie.
Yanis thought of Zane's reaction in the car at that time. "Of course."
Bonnie curled her lips and said, "Zane really has grudges. He still remembers clearly that I took a picture of you and Ivan last time in M Country. That's why he said that last night. He is so petty that he even wants to introduce a girlfriend to Myles!"
Hearing Bonnie's complaint, Yanis chuckled, "I'm also a little curious, what kind of photo is it?"
Bonnie took the mobile phone out of her pocket and said, "Didn't I show it to you? Did you forget?"
Bonnie took out her cell phone and found that photo from the album, and handed it to Yanis. "This photo, have you forgotten?"
When Yanis saw the photo, she frowned slightly and said, "Not really."
Bonnie looked at the photo and asked, "Don't you think the photo is nice?"
Yanis hummed. However, at the thought of what Ivan posted online, Yanis said softly, "Bonnie, do you think Ivan's sudden engagement to Mila has anything to do with me?"
Bonnie put away her cell phone and walked to the parking lot with Yanis. She said, "I don't think it is all because of you. If that were the case, Ivan would have married someone else five years ago. However, it does have something to do with you."
She looked sideways at Yanis and continued, "Anyway, don't think too much. After all, Ivan was not a child, and he knows what he is doing. You can't take care of everyone's thoughts, can you?"
Yanis hummed, "I know, I just think..."
"Don't think so, unless you can dump Zane and choose Ivan, otherwise everything will be superfluous," said Bonnie.
Yanis hummed, "Okay, I just mentioned that to you."
Bonnie opened the car door and said, "I know."
When Bonnie and Yanis arrived at Harborview Restaurant, Ivan and Mila hadn't arrived yet.
They went straight to the room reserved by Ivan.
Bonnie made a phone call to Ivan.
Then Ivan answered the phone, "Bonnie."
"We're all here. Where are you now?" asked Bonnie.
Ivan responded, "We're downstairs parking the car. You two can order first."
Bonnie said, "Are you with Ms. Hope?"
Ivan hummed, "Yes, we will come soon."
"Okay, then I'll take a look at the menu first, and Ms. Hope can order after you come."
"Never mind, please order first," Ivan said.
Bonnie hummed, hung up the phone, and put the phone aside. She took the menu and handed it to Yanis, "Yanis, let's check the menu together."
Yanis looked at Bonnie and asked, "Where are Ivan and Mila now?"
"They are coming right away," said Bonnie.
Then they looked at the menu and chose a few dishes, and put the menu aside to wait for Ivan and Mila.
The door of the room was quickly pushed open, and Ivan and Mila came in.
"You are a little slow," Bonnie said.
Ivan took off his coat and was about to hang it, but Mila took his coat promptly and naturally did it for him.
Ivan glanced at Yanis as soon as he came in.
Yanis stared back at Ivan in response.
Ivan frowned slightly and said thank you to Mila in a low voice.
After hanging up Ivan's clothes, Mila turned around and looked at Bonnie and Yanis. "Ms. Cooke, Ms. Thompson, good to see you again."
Yanis nodded at Mila and replied, "Nice to meet you, too."
Mila's meticulous care of Ivan made Yanis and Bonnie both dumbfounded.
But from beginning to end, Bonnie and Yanis didn't even make a joke.
Bonnie was a talkative person. Usually, if there were only three of them, they could talk cheerfully.
But everyone was quiet today.
After ordering, Ivan handed the menu to the waiter and asked, "Please serve as fast as possible."
The waiter took the menu and nodded, "Okay, we will try our best."
After the waiter left, Ivan looked at Bonnie. "Why didn't Myles come together?"
Bonnie said, "You didn't ask me to come with him. Besides, we will talk more freely if he is not here."
Ivan smiled and said, "Come on, are you afraid Myles will bother us?"
Bonnie smiled, "I can't answer you specifically because I'm afraid you will tell him."
Ivan leaned over and served the champagne for Yanis and Bonni and then Mila. "I won't tell him if there are some benefits from you."
Bonnie picked up the wine glass and said, "Cheers! For your generosity."
Ivan raised his wine glass with Bonnie very cooperatively and said, "Are you suggesting that we have a toast together?"
Bonnie took a sip of the wine and said, "Yes, of course. We should toast your engagement."
Then Bonnie looked at Mila and asked, "Is some champagne OK for you?"
