I Become A CEO After Divorce novel Chapter 408

Chapter 408 That's Your Brother-in-Law

Hearing what Myles said, Aurora looked up at Myles and whispered, "What does this have to do with you?"
Myles frowned frivolously, "Little girl, there is no good guy. Think about it, you won't even have a place to cry once a bad thing happened."
Aurora was a little nervous because of Myles's look at her. She looked away, and just saw Zane coming over and sitting down. "Are you familiar with him?" she asked.
Myles followed Aurora's gaze and looked at Zane.
"Yup, why?"
Aurora tightened her hand. "Is... is he rich?"
Myles chuckled, "Are you short of money?"
Aurora didn't speak. She stared at Zane for a few seconds, then turned and walked towards the box that Anthony had just entered.
This time Myles didn't stop her. After she entered the box, he walked towards Zane.
He stepped forward and sat down on the sofa, "Your sister... is really interesting."
Zane didn't speak, but raised his hand and glanced at the time.
Antonio had not yet been taken out.
Seeing Zane checking the time, Myles glanced aside, and then asked the person leaning there, "Haven't they brought him out yet?"
The man glanced inward, "Mr. Hughes, shall I go and check?"
Myles waved his hand, beckoning him to take a look.
As soon as he got up, the person who was supposed to take out Antonio appeared.
He looked angry. "Damn it! That dude is crazy."
Myles glanced at him upon hearing this, "What's going on?"
"He has a knife, I can't even get close to him, and... he's overdosed tonight, it's just crazy."
Hearing this, Myles frowned. Then he looked at Zane, "What does he say? Police can't come here. I guess I'll have someone knock him out with a stick."
Zane was silent for a few seconds, "Yeah. Do it."
"Go, knock him out and tie him up and send him to the police station."
"Directly to the police station?"
Myles hummed, "Yeah. If the police ask for contact information..."
Myles looked at Zane, "Your number? Or Thompson Residence? Or that of Yanis?"
"Yours. Don't let him out until he quits the drug."
Myles hissed, "He is your brother-in-law, what does he have to do with me?"
"I owe you a favor."
Myles chuckled, "Mr. Lawrence, you owe me a lot of favors these days."
Zane ignored Myles' words.
Myles ordered to knock Antonio unconscious and take him to the police station.
After arranging everything, Myles glanced at his watch, "Are you going to pick up Yanis tonight? Together?"
Zane glanced at the time again. He stayed here for quite some timend it was time for dinner.
Thinking of this, Zane stood up and said, "Let's go."
Seeing Zane get up, Myles also stood up, "Give me a ride, I guess they drove, so I won't."
Zane hummed and walked towards the door.
The two had just walked a few steps when they heard a bang mixed with some screams.
Myles paused and looked over.
Evan had gone in the direction where the sound came from.
The voice came from Anthony's box.
Evan pushed the half-open door and saw Anthony fall on the sofa, covering his head.
His people were grabbing a girl by the hair and knocking her head on the ground. If the girl hadn't struggled, she would have hit the corner of the table.
Evan felt terrified.
Although it was a messy place, no one died here.
So Evan walked in and pulled the girl out of Anthony's people's hands. Just as he was about to speak, he saw the girl's face and frowned, "You..."
Evan paused, swallowed his words, and then turned to Anthony, who was still covering his head, "What's going on? Are you trying to kill her?"
Anthony seemed stunned. He stared at Aurora, who was next to Evannow, for a few seconds, raised his finger, and said, "Take her here!"
Evan let go of his hand the moment he saw her face.
So before he had time to stop, Aurora was grabbed by Anthony's men and pushed to Anthony.
This posture looked awkward.
Evan couldn't tell what Zane was thinking, so he didn't speak.
Although he hated seeing Anthony bullying girls, he was not a saint. So he wouldn't necessarily help when such things happened.
"Mr. Perry, would you like to stand here and watch it?" Anthony grabbed Aurora's hair and looked up at Evan.
Anthony's head was bleeding, and blood flowed down his brows and eyes. It looked a little scary.
But Anthony didn't seem to pay much attention. When the blood was about to flow into his eyes, he raised his hand and wiped it casually.
"Not really."
Evan tidied his clothes while speaking, "I heard some noise just now and thought you were drunk. You guys can enjoy yourself here but don't forget, this is Myles' place, so don't go too far."
After speaking, Evan left before Anthony answered.
As he walked to the door of the room, Evan paused, "Master Austin, you agreed to what Myles just said, so I hope you mind your behavior a little bit."
Anthony chuckled lightly when he heard the words, "It seems that you all know this woman, even Mr. Lawrence intervened."
Speaking of which, Anthony looked down at Aurora who was pinned down in front of him. He let go of her hair and squeezed her jaw, "Do you know Zane?"
Aurora endured the pain in her jaw, and said through gritted teeth, "No!"
Anthony sneered, then looked up at Evan who was still standing at the door, "Mr. Perry, did you hear that?"
Evan glanced at Aurora's face, then left the box.
Myles and Zane hadn't left yet.
Evan walked up to Myles and Zane with a sullen face, "Why are you still here?"
Myles glanced at the box, "What's going on?"
"Mr. Lawrence's sister broke Anthony's head. I guess they won't let her go easily."
Zane frowned after hearing Evan's words.
Thinking of Aurora's reaction just now, Evan said aloud, "The girl insisted she didn't know us."
