Chapter 434:Don’t Be Upset. You Can Get Pregnant Again.
Stella tilted her head to look at Sandy. "You got it."
Sandy retorted in a low voice, "Stella, I'm still young."
"Young?" Stella couldn't help but raise her voice. "You're twenty-six years old now."
"It's just that you think I'm not young, but Brando…."
"Sandy."
Stella interrupted Sandy. "Brandon is thirty-two years old and he's also not young."
"But we aren't in a hurry. It's OK to get married later. What's more, I have no idea of getting married now."
Stella tried to make her voice sound calm. "Have you thought about Brandon's family? Both of you are not in a hurry, but how about his family? Didn't his parents and brothers want him to settle down as soon as possible?"
Sandy didn't answer.
And Stella didn't speak again.
That was enough, and more of it would end up being counterproductive.
In addition, today was Sandy's birthday, so Stella knew she couldn't push her too hard.
The atmosphere in the car was a bit depressing.
Neither of them spoke again.
After a long while, Stella spoke again, "I'm not pushing you to get married. I just think that Brandon is a nice and reliable guy, so I sincerely hope that you two can settle down early. That's it."
If so, there was no need for Sandy to beat around the bush.
So after Stella finished speaking, Sandy turned to look at her and asked softly, "Stella, are you worried that I will be afraid to marriage because of you and Luca?"
Listening to Sandy, Stella looked at Sandy and wanted to say something, but she couldn't say even a word when she met Sandy's bright eyes.
Because she was indeed worried about that.
Sandy continued, "To be frank, the things between you and Luca did have some influence on me, but it's not just about you."
"I'm an actress and I have read all kinds of scripts. Although those are all dramas, I do think they are the portrayal of the reality. It's just that we know little about what is happening around us, so we took it for granted that it could just happen in the TV series, not in real life."
"In fact, these things really existed when scriptwriters wrote them."
Sandy pursed her lips. "I'm indeed a little scared of marriage, but that's OK. Maybe some time later, I would be longing for getting hitched. Don't worry and don't think that I won't get married with Brandon or something like this. I'm just waiting for a moment. After I overcome the panic in my heart, I'll think about that."
Stella didn't expect Sandy to think so much.
After her words, Stella took a deep breath. "Well, that's alright. I'm indeed worried that you would be affected by me and don't want to get married, which is unfair to Brandon."
Sandy replied, "Then everything's fine."
"That's alright. Let's stop it. Today's your birthday and we should be happy."
"Yeah."
Stella didn't talk about it anymore.
The two went home first and worshipped their parents as usual. After that, they changed their clothes and went shopping. They had asked Bonnie and Yanis to have dinner in the evening.
…
Kaylin Hotel.
Zane parked the car in front of the hotel and got out to help Jillian open the door.
Then he took the luggage out of the trunk.
Yanis and Brandon's sister-in-law helped Jillian out of the car.
"Brandon said he had already booked the room, but I didn't ask him for the room number." Brandon's sister-in-law said in a low voice. "Shall I call him first?"
Yanis said, "Well, it's OK to tell them the name or give them the ID card."
"Is that alright?" Brandon's sister-in-law looked at Yanis.
Yanis nodded. "Yeah. If not, Zane's here anyway."
It just happened that Zane took the suitcase down when he heard Yanis's voice. He looked at her and asked, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing, let's go first."
Yanis helped Jillian into the hotel lobby as she spoke.
Brandon was thoughtful and may have called hotel staff when they were leaving from the airport.
There were specially arranged staff waiting in the lobby.
On seeing they come in, they greeted them enthusiastically. "Are you Mr. Hawkins's family?"
Brandon's sister-in-law nodded. "Yeah."
"Mr Hawkins has already called us. This way, please."
They went straight to the room under the guidance of the staff.
The hotel was not very crowded during this time, so the rooms Brandon booked were suites and close to each other.
Brandon booked a separate room for him alone, and Kason lived in a large suite with his wife and Jillian.
It was easy to take care of Jillian that way.
"Mom, you'd better have a rest now. When Brandon arrives, let's get some food." Brandon's sister-in-law helped Jillian sit down on the couch.
Jillian was aged anyway. After the trip, she looked very tired.
"OK, I'm gonna take a shower and take a nap. I'm old and can't do such things like you young people." As Jillian said, she looked at Brandon's sister-in-law. "Please get my nighty for me."
"OK, you can sit here for a while and I'll get it for you."
Yanis poured Jillian a glass of water. "Aunt Jillian, have a drink."
"OK." Jillian took it from Yanis's hand, and gently patted the position beside her with her free hand. "Yanis, please sit down."
Yanis nodded and sat down next to her.
Zane glanced up at the time. He was about to say something to Yanis when the phone in his pocket rang.
Zane had to swallow the words that came to his lips and went to the balcony to answer the phone.
Yanis and Jillian were left in the living room.
Jillian took Yanis's hand. "You're thinner than before."
Yanis smiled after hearing Jillian's words. "Well, I just looked a bit fat before maybe because I was pregnant."
Jillian sighed. "Don't be upset. You can get pregnant again."
Yanis nodded gently. "I do think so."
Jillian reached out and gently touched Yanis's head. "I've been desired to have a daughter but the God just gave me two boys."
Then Jillian looked at Yanis and said softly, "Yanis, if that's OK, would you like to consider me as your god mother?"
