I Become A CEO After Divorce novel Chapter 439

Chapter 439 Why Don’t You Have A Sense Of Crisis?

Jones looked at Sandy after hearing her voice.
Sandy came out of the conference room and looked at Archie. "Since Mr. Harper has decided, I won't bring you any trouble definitely."
Archie glanced at Sandy. "Let's see."
After he left, Sandy looked less confident than before.
Jones never thought Archie had something to do with it.
"What's wrong? Isn't everything all right when you came? How could it be like this now?"
Jones was asking Sandy, but she was also talking to herself.
She was Sandy's agent, but she hadn't heard anything.
She told Sandy that Archie would not be like the other shareholders certainly.
But now, she felt a bit regretful.
Archie's words and deeds just now were like a loud slap on her face.
It was loud and painful.
Sandy stood at the same place for a few seconds before looking up at Jones. "Jones."
Hearing Sandy's voice, Jones gathered her wits and looked back at her. "What's wrong?"
"I won't continue to work on Youth."
Sandy said very seriously. "I decided to film the movie for the director's sake when he came to me and wanted to make last profits for Simsang Entertainment before I left. However, it seemed that I don't need to do it at all."
Jones looked at Sandy in shock and was about to say something.
Sandy continued, "I'm in default and I'll pay the liquidated damages according to the contract."
Jones's words were stuck in her lips, and she was silent for a few seconds. "Sandy, don't rush to make the decision. I'll come to Mr. Harper and talk to him. There will be other ways."
Sandy was about to speak, but when she heard the sound of conversation and footsteps behind her, Sandy swallowed the words that came to her lips.
The shareholders led by Mr. Foxwalked out of the conference room.
They were talking about the relationship between Sandy and Aaron.
On seeing Sandy standing in the doorway, they all stopped.
"Mr. Fox."
Jones said hello to him first.
Mr. Fox glanced at Sandy and then looked at Jones. "Jones, did Mr. Harper tell you?"
The first thing that came to her mind was that Mr. Harper told her not to be Sandy's agent anymore when Jones heard his question.
But in front of Mr. Fox, Jones pretended that she didn't know anything. "What's it?"
"You'll be Aaron's agent."
Jones was obviously stunned when she heard Mr. Fox's words.
She might choose to keep her job and do what the company asked her to do, but she never expected that she would be asked to be Aaron's agent.
"You still don't know?" Mr. Fox noticed her shock and asked.
Jones shook her head. "Mr. Harper didn't tell me."
"Well, you'll receive the notification soon."
That done, Mr. Fox looked at Sandy, who was standing next to Jones. He said in a sarcastically tone, "Sandy, though you won't work for Simsang Entertainment but another company. We still hope you'll have a promising future."
Sandy looked calm. After his words, Sandy smiled. "Thank you."
Mr. Fox nodded and left with the shareholders.
"Go back to the office now. I'm gonna talk to Mr. Harper." After they left, Jones looked at Sandy and said.
Without waiting for Sandy to say anything, Jones turned and walked in the direction of the elevator.
Sandy didn't stop Jones. After all, Jones would still have to stay at Simsang Entertainment despite her departure.
It was not up to Sandy whether Jones was willing to be Aaron's agent or not.
It was Jones's own business.
Although the root cause of this situation was her, now she had no say.
She could only be sure that she would be completely leave Simsang Entertainment.
As for Jones, she was not sure. The best way for Jones was to talk to Archie. She couldn't affect the final desicion.
After Jones left, Sandy didn't took the chance to leave.
There must be a lot of things to deal with next after what had happemed.
So Sandy went to Jones's office first as she said.
In the empty room, even the breathing was somewhat amplified.
Sandy was clear that her career developed even better than Neve's in the past two years.
In the the entertainment industry, many things were not as simple as they seemed.
So Sandy could understand that Archie, who looked like a gentleman, was unwilling to be a gentleman at this time.
Just as Archie said, he was a businessman, and businessmen were all profit-oriented.
Archie was also a normal person and had to sacrifice something for the sake of profit.
Sitting in the office, Sandy looked through her previous statement.
There was still a lot of negative comments below.
Most of them were fans of Victor, mixed with fans of Aaron.
The insults were extremely harsh.
However, Sandy was not that fragile and she didn't care about that at all.
After a quick glance, Sandy clicked back.
After that, Sandy contacted the director and the scriptwriter of Youth.
She contacted the director first.
The director replied quickly. He comforted Sandy, saying they had the original video that was shot by their camera and asking whether they need to post it for clarification.
When Sandy saw the message sent by the director, she laughed lightly and refused.
Later Sandy asked him if it's convenient to have a voice call and called him directly.
It was answered quickly.
"Director Anderson, good evening." Sandy greeted him like she used to at the shooting.
Director Anderson asked, "Why don't you have a sense of crisis at all?"
Sandy had filmed a lot of movies since her debut, seven of which were directed by him.
He valued Sandy sincerely.
He liked the way Sandy got along with others and the way she faced difficulties. He thought very highly of her.
When they were deciding on the cast of Youth, Anderson first contacted Sandy.
With Sandy's agreement, he gave the script to Simsang Entertainment, implying that he wanted Sandy to star in the film.
Therefore, the final choice was Sandy undoubtedly.
Director Anderson was very fond of this movie, so he was anxious after such things happened.
