Miller didn't wake up until he was past the danger period.
Nor did he make any progress.
Basically it was back to the drawing board.
Bonnie stayed in the hospital until dinner and then went back to the studio.
Yanis stayed a little longer.
It was not until around 8:00 p. m. that Yanis planned to go back.
But before he could make a sound, the door of the ICU suddenly opened and the nurse came out from inside, "Which one is Yanis?"
Yanis got up at the sound of her name and stood up.
"Follow me."
Yanis looked at the nurse in confusion and just wanted to ask something, the nurse then said directly, "The patient wants to see you, and Zane, come along too."
Yanis sniffed and glanced at Zane, and after Zane got up and stood up along with him, he followed the nurse inside.
The two eased into sterile clothing at the doorway before entering the intensive care unit.
There were several people lying in beds inside.
Miller was in one of the innermost beds.
With all kinds of instruments plugged in all over his body, he looked to give a sense of urgency to snatch someone at the hands of death.
"You guys come closer so he can hear you when you talk."
The nurse began to remove the instruments from Miller's body, and while doing so, said, "Say what you want to say, there's no time."
The nurse's words were kind of obvious.
Miller is not going to work ...
It may be a return to the light, Miller still looks a little eloquent at this time.
Yanis leaned over and called out softly, "Dad?"
Miller's fingers moved, trying to grasp something.
Yanis put her hand up and grabbed Miller's hand.
Miller's mouth opened and closed, and the distance was too far to hear.
So Yanis almost had to put his ear close to hear it.
"Yanis ..., be good with Zane ..., be good ... and live well."
Miller's words were broken, but every word that Miller said, Yanis heard clearly.
At the time of hearing Miller's words, Yanis couldn't say what he was feeling.
Immediately after Miller's intermittent voice then sounded again, "Zane ... he ... he loves you very much."
"Love you very ... much, be ... well, Yanis, Dad ... Dad will ask you to... ... give him a ... chance ... machine, OK?"
Miller's request, let Yanis for a time do not know how to respond, because she now not at all want to think about what the relationship, especially with Zane's between things.
She felt that this time, she had lived a very full life.
But when faced with Miller's request on his way out, Yanis couldn't say no.
After a few seconds of silence, Yanis nodded gently and whispered in Miller's ear, "I'll think about it, don't worry."
Miller nodded his head and put his eyes on Zane.
As Miller looked at Zane, Yanis then had the good sense to step back a bit and let Zane come forward.
Miller still spoke to Zane as he had just done intermittently, "Be nice to ... Yanis...."
Zane nodded at Miller.
Miller slowed down for a moment, then continued, "Yanis ... she is very good, to ... be good to her."
