After hearing Yanis' words, Stella was a bit shocked. "Six children?"
Yanis nodded. "One pair of them is twins."
Stella couldn't help but sigh, but also felt some sympathy. "So now you plan to just help them like this?"
Yanis hesitated for a few seconds. "Helping them is the least I can do since their father's life was lost because of me. No matter what, I can't just ignore them."
Stella didn't say anything and simply replied, "Okay, if there's anything you need, just let me know. I'm basically free anyway."
Yanis smiled and said, "Alright then, I'll call on you if there's a need."
After chatting with Stella by the car for a while and watching Bonnie and Mia finish their food, Yanis finally called out to the two girls.
"Going back now?" Bonnie hadn't eaten these kinds of foods in quite some time, but had tried some with Mia today; she even thought they tasted pretty good and was feeling slightly stuffed right now.
Yanis glanced at her before replying: "Yeah, we're going back now; I'll drop Mia off where she's staying first. Did Myles already go over?"
Bonnie nodded: "He went over as soon as he got your message."
Yanis nodded his head before turning to look at Stella: "Then we'll head back first; you go ahead with your own business."
Stella replied obediently: "Drive slowly."
By the time Yanis dropped Bonnie off at Myles' place according to the address given earlier that day, it had already become dark outside.
"What did you guys do? Why did it take so long for y'all to come back?" As soon as Myles saw both of them, he rushed up like he'd seen his savior.
Bonnie looked at him suspiciously: "What happened? You look like someone bullied ya?"
Myles sighed heavily before saying: "Those two brothers got into a fight for no reason; it took me forever just to calm things down between 'em! Now both are sitting in my living room without saying anything all afternoon long - they haven't even eaten yet! That little girl is also sitting quietly on one side without moving or talking either... it's really difficult for me!"
Myles vented out all his grievances while pulling Bonnie aside.
After listening to Myles' words, Yanis raised an eyebrow before looking towards him again and asked, "Did they fight?"
Myles nodded solemnly, "They fought pretty hard too - it took everything out of me trying to separate 'em! If nobody else were around here, then those two could've easily sent each other straight to the hospital!"
As Yanis listened, she furrowed her brow tightly together before stepping inside through the doorframe.
Bonnie told Myles that they should unload everything from their car first, and then she took Mia along with her inside afterwards too.
The three siblings sat silently in different corners of the living room, not speaking to each other whatsoever. When they heard movement, they all looked up towards the door and saw Yanis. Natasha was the first to call out, "Yanis, Bonnie." Yanis responded and looked towards Natasha, asking, "What's going on?" Natasha glanced at Taylor and Payne but didn't say anything. Taylor and Payne both lowered their heads in silence when Yanis asked about the situation.
Yanis walked over to Taylor and Payne and asked them why they had fought. Taylor was even colder than usual, standing silently by the side with a pair of icy eyes that showed he was still angry. Payne appeared more serious than usual as he stood straight before saying, "It's nothing really, we were just messing around."
After hearing this explanation from Payne, Taylor gave him a quick glance but remained silent. Seeing that neither of them wanted to say more about it, Yanis decided not to press any further, since it wasn't her place to interfere in their brotherly affairs.
"I bought some household items for you guys," she said instead. "Try them out later."
