Chapter 652: Are You in a Hurry to Find a Man?

Actually, Myles probably guessed that Freddy had something to say.
It wasn't really about wanting him to live with him.
After Bonnie left, Old Mr. Cooke returned to his room.
Soon there were only Freddy and Myles left in the living room.
"Do you think you went a little too far this time?" Freddy asked before waiting for Myles to speak first.
Myles nodded seriously after hearing Freddy's words. "I made an impulsive decision when my head was hot at the time. It was my fault, and I promise it won't happen again in the future."
Freddy didn't speak as seriously as before when he talked with Myles this time. "You grew up together with Bonnie, and you know her even better than I do. She resisted having further relationship with you before because she always kept Aunt Isabel's and your father's affairs in mind like a guardian timed bomb over these years, which has been haunting her all along. Now that she has defused this timed bomb, you should cherish the time you have together more."
Myles nodded again. "Yes, I will pay attention from now on."
"If it weren't for seeing that Bonnie also loves you deeply, we wouldn't let you be together again after what happened this time because your behavior is very irresponsible," said Freddy sternly.
Myles humbly accepted his advice and listened carefully no matter what he said or did while responding seriously to give assurance to Freddy.
Perhaps because of Myle's too active cooperation and sincerity, Freddy still didn't speak too seriously but gave some reminders face-to-face with him anyway.
"Okay then go rest early now since no one has cleaned up the guest room yet; find yourself a place to sleep by yourself since I don't like sleeping with others," said Fredy after lecturing Miles directly without hesitation then got up directly back into his own room leaving Miles alone stranded in the living room.
Sitting alone in an empty living room, Miles sighed silently.
Is it inappropriate climbing someone else's daughter's bed right under her father's nose?
Or maybe what just happened was just a test from Freddie?
He thought wildly for half of moment but eventually dared not go find Bonnie so lay down on sofa instead staying put where he was at present moment.. Freddy stood and observed for a while, seeing that Myles had no intention of going upstairs to find Bonnie, he turned and went back to his room. He thought that Myles had completely given up on Bonnie.
The weather was getting hotter and Yanis and Bonnie were busy every day. Compared to Yanis, Bonnie was busier. She had to go door-to-door measuring clients' sizes and even personally make some things herself. As for Yanis, besides drawing new designs, the rest of his time was spent discussing jewelry styles with clients.
Earlier Ivan said Darin came back to Manches City but there were some things holding him up so he didn't arrive until last night. Because it was too late when Darin arrived, Ivan didn't contact him so he stayed at a hotel by himself.
When Yanis received Darin's call, he just made plans with Zane for lunch. After all, since Darin came such a long way as a guest, Yanis put the guest first and ditched Zane.
"You have lunch by yourself; I suddenly have something come up here so I might not be able to eat with you," said Yanis over the phone in order to express his apology.
Zane's tone on the phone didn't sound unhappy but Yanis knew that Zane had been like soaking in vinegar recently--she didn't know what she did wrong but Zane already felt sour inside.
"Just you two?"
Yanis said,"I heard there is also someone very good; Ivan should be going too."
Zane fell silent for a few seconds after hearing that Ivan would also go,"Doesn't Ivan have anything else to do during the day? Does he have time left over just for guests?"
Regarding Zane's words, Yanis couldn't help but hold back laughter,"Mr. Walsh is Ivan's friend; even if busy they still need time together. What are you thinking?"
Only then did Zane reluctantly say "uh-huh" before hanging up. Zane asked again before hanging up: "Where are you guys having lunch?".
Yan replied after thinking about it:"Either at Maple House or Banyan Garden."
Zanesaid "See you tonight" before hanging up. Yan responded then hung up. When Yan hung up, Zone walked in holding her tablet. She leaned towards him asking:"You're leaving now?"
Yan nodded, his gaze falling onto Zone's tablet screen."New design?"Bonnie nodded, "Do you see anything that's not right? I've been looking at it for a while and can't figure out what it is, but something just feels off."
Yanis reached over and took the tablet from Bonnie's hand, taking a closer look. "Is this how it's supposed to be?"
Bonnie followed Yanis' finger and suddenly realized, "No, something is missing here! I knew something was off!"
After snatching the tablet back from Yanis quickly, Bonnie asked him, "Are you going to have dinner with Ivan and Mr. Walsh?"
Yanis replied obediently,"Do you want to come along?"
"No thanks. I still have some work to do. I promised Myles that I would go with him to the hospital this afternoon. You go ahead without me and say hi to Mr. Walsh for me."
"Okay then. Go ahead with your work but don't forget to eat on time."
Bonnie waved her hand towards Yanis before returning back to her own tasks.
The final location for their meal was set at Banyan Garden.
Since both Ivan and Darin were relatively close by Banyan Garden area already, Yanis didn't have too far of a drive either.
At lunchtime there were more cars on the road than usual so when Yanis arrived at Banyan Garden entrance, it had already been twenty minutes since he left his place.
He hurriedly parked his car then headed straight into Banyan Garden restaurant without noticing someone walking towards him in front of him, resulting in them colliding into each other directly.
Almost instinctively, Yannis apologized,"I'm sorry about that."
"Walking without watching where you're going huh?" The other person clearly wasn't very friendly, and yelled at Yannis like that immediately after they collided into each other.
The voice sounded somewhat familiar which made Yannis raise his head subconsciously when he heard it. The moment he saw who was standing opposite of himself, his brow furrowed slightly as he hadn't expected Anna Johnson would be the one he ran into.
However, because he had bumped into someone else first, Yannis didn't say much. Instead , he apologized again politely.
Anna gave Yannis a cold glance,"In broad daylight, you're in such a hurry. Is it because you're rushing overto see your man?"
Anna's words were quite harsh, making Yannis frown slightly,"Miss Johnson, I admit my fault earlier, but if bumping into me made any part of your body feel uncomfortable, I suggest we go get checked up together. However, could we please watch our language while speaking next time?"
