"That... I'll pick you up and take you back to D-king Castle, then you can talk to them?" Yanis suggested.
Anika shook her head, "Not yet."
Yanis wanted to say something else, but seeing Anika like this, he could only nod his head. "Okay then, when you're ready we'll go see Iris."
Anika nodded in agreement. After that, she didn't say anything and sat quietly on the side as if she didn't exist.
No matter what Yanis said next, Anika only nodded or shook her head.
It wasn't until Dr. Wood finished eating and came over with Zane that Yanis got up and left South Hospital with Zane.
"Did Dr. Wood talk to you about it?" Yanis turned his head towards Zane.
Zane responded with a sound of agreement,"He talked about Anika's situation a bit. She... may have some tendencies towards social withdrawal."
"But isn't this tendency more common when someone is younger? How can it still happen now?" asked Yanis curiously.
Zane shook his head,"It's not just during childhood that it happens; sometimes when someone experiences something beyond their ability to cope with they might act like this too. But compared to when they're younger, it's easier for them now because there's a higher chance of self-healing in the future; however..."
At this point in the conversation Zane paused slightly,"But if she keeps standing in front of that scene where things went wrong without being able to move on from it mentally or emotionally then she will be severely affected whether mentally or psychologically; recovering from this will require long-term treatment."
Dr. Wood made it clear during his conversation with Zane: for Anika to recover fully would take more than three years especially since this was her second time experiencing such an incident which makes recovery even harder than before.
"We should come visit her often and try our best to comfort her," suggested Yanis
Zane agreed by saying "Dr. Wood also recommended doing so; tomorrow I'll ask Albi (his assistant)to find us a driver so grandma Sophia can come here often and keep company by talking with Anika."
"When I'm not busy here at work Bonnie Stella , and I will also come visit frequently" added Yanis
Zanes nodded again ,"Alright"
...
The next morning Linda called out loudly through the phone waking up yanin shouting "Yanin! Time for work!"Yanis sat up from the bed, feeling helpless about Bonnie's decision to quit. "Linda, do you think it's appropriate to call me so early?" he asked.
Linda coughed lightly. "I hope I'm not disturbing you guys?"
Yanis scoffed and laughed. "What are you thinking, little girl?"
Linda chuckled. "Okay then, should I come pick you up or will you drive yourself? Wendy has prepared breakfast for us and it'll be ready when you arrive."
Yanis checked his phone for the time. "I'll head over now..."
"Finish breakfast at home before leaving," Zane whispered as he entered through the door.
Linda heard Zane's voice on the phone too and said, "Sure thing, come over later." She hung up quickly.
Yanis turned around to look at Zane. "Why are you up so early?"
"I have an early meeting this morning and made plans with someone," Zane replied.
Yanis nodded in understanding. "I'll go freshen up first then come down for breakfast."
Zane hummed in response and watched Yanis enter the bathroom before following him inside shortly after. He stood there watching Yanis brush his teeth before asking suddenly, "Did you take any medicine after that night?"
Yanis paused mid-brush upon hearing Zane's question and looked at him curiously." Didn't we use protection?"
Zane nodded," Yes but still…you shouldn't take too much of those things; they're not good for your body."
