Bonnie looked at Sandy and said, "Why don't you try the feeling of being assassinated?"
Sandy quickly shook her head, "No way, I still want to live for another five hundred years!"
Bonnie replied with a blank expression.
Yanis and Bonnie stayed at Stella's house until around 10 o'clock in the evening before finally leaving in the car.
During this time, Zane called twice.
Yanis originally intended to go back, but Stella and Bonnie intentionally held her back, so they ended up delaying until almost ten o'clock.
On the way back, Bonnie slumped in the passenger seat, gazing at the buildings passing by in the rearview mirror, and softly called out to Yanis.
After hearing Bonnie's words, Yanis responded, "What's up?"
"Aren't you and Mr. Lawrence planning to have a baby, like Alfie? Your grandparents have been urging you about it, right?"
"We'll let things take their course."
Bonnie turned her head to look at Yanis. "Let things take their course? Is it that you don't want to or that Zane doesn't want to? Or maybe neither of you wants to?"
Yanis replied, "No, we are preparing for it too, but maybe the timing isn't right, so there hasn't been much progress."
"Well, why not get it checked?" Bonnie looked at Yanis. "I heard that it's easier to recover when you have a child at a young age, but it becomes slower as you get older."
Yanis smiled at the suggestion, "Okay, I'll go and have a check-up sometime."
Bonnie had intended to say more, but the words stopped at her lips. "When I go for my next prenatal check-up, I'll call you along and have Dr. Watson examine you. If there's any problem, we can treat it in time. If there's no problem, then take it slow."
Yanis nodded, "Okay."
"Why are you being so cooperative tonight?"
Yanis glanced at Bonnie, "If I argue back, will you lecture me all night?"
Bonnie snorted lightly, "Consider yourself smart."
"I know better."
"That's good."
Yanis looked at Bonnie, "Are you going back to the cottage tonight or to the old mansion?"
"I'll go back to the cottage."
Yanis nodded and drove towards the direction of the cottage.
After dropping Bonnie off at her doorstep and watching her go inside, Yanis finally drove away and returned to D-king Castle.
When Yanis arrived home, the lights in the living room were still on.
Yanis changed her shoes at the entrance, "Zane?"
Zane responded, "You're back?"
Yanis acknowledged with a sound and entered the living room, looking at the person sitting up on the sofa, "Why didn't you go back to the room to sleep? Didn't I tell you I would be coming back late?"
Zane looked at Yanis, raised his hand, and patted the spot next to him, "Come here."
Yanis approached and sat down beside Zane.
Just as Yanis sat down, Zane reached out and pulled her into his embrace, "What did you have for dinner tonight?"
"Hot pot. Both Sandy and Bonnie wanted to eat it, so we made a split-pot hot pot. It was delicious," Yanis said, turning to Zane. "And what about you? What did you have for dinner?"
"I had dinner with Albi," Zane replied.
"Hmm?"
"We had something to take care of in the afternoon, so we had dinner outside before coming home," Zane explained.
"Oh, okay. Shall we go upstairs now?" Yanis asked.
"Are you tired?" Zane inquired.
Yanis replied, "I haven't showered yet. I want to take a bath. I also need to make some adjustments to a design sketch later, and I'm afraid it might get too late."
Zane checked the time and said, "Go ahead and make the adjustments first, then take a bath. I'll accompany you."
Upon hearing Zane's words, Yanis was slightly shocked. "You'll accompany me?"
Zane, noticing Yanis's reaction, curved his lips and said, "Yanis, what are you thinking?"
