Mia's actions froze the two security guards who had intended to approach her; they didn't dare to get any closer. The secretary standing at the door was also taken aback by what Mia had done.
Glancing at Zane, whose face had turned completely cold and unreadable, the secretary turned and called two female employees from outside.
"Go and pull her away," the secretary instructed in a low voice.
The two female employees were shocked when they saw the scene, but they quickly stepped forward and forcefully pulled Mia away from Zane.
As Mia was being pulled away, Zane furrowed his brow and took off his clothes, tossing them aside. "Take her out!"
The secretary nodded. "Okay."
Mia struggled to free herself, but the two female employees dragged her out of the office.
"Don't you see that he had ill intentions towards me?" Mia shouted at the two female employees who were pulling her.
"Aren't you afraid of him harassing you?" Mia yelled at them.
One of the female employees replied with a low scolding tone, "Mr. Lawrence has good eyes. Do you really think he would be interested in someone like you?"
"That's right. Did you really think we would believe your little act? Many women have tried to get close to Mr. Lawrence before. How many succeeded? You're just overestimating yourself!"
Mia hadn't expected the employees of the Lawrence Group to trust Zane so much. The more she thought about it, the more resentful she became.
But what could she do even if she was resentful?
Whenever she thought of Myles's death and Bonnie's well-being, Mia's hatred consumed her.
Only when the Read family rose to power could she trample Bonnie under her feet!
When Mia was left outside the Lawrence Group's entrance, Mr. Gordts was stunned.
Looking at Mia, who appeared disheveled, Mr. Gordts was at a loss. "What... what happened?"
Albi frowned and turned to the secretary, who had followed them out. He asked in a low voice, "Jeffrey, what happened?"
Jeffrey walked up to Albi and whispered a brief account of what he had seen.
After hearing Jeffrey's words, Albi's expression showed a tinge of shock. "Is Mr. Lawrence okay?"
"He doesn't look good," Jeffrey replied.
Upon hearing Jeffrey's words, Albi's eyebrows furrowed. "This is truly unexpected."
Albi hadn't expected Mia to have the audacity to do something like this.
