I Become A CEO After Divorce novel Chapter 969

Chapter 969: Do You Believe in Fate?

After a few seconds of eye contact with Brandon, Zane flicked the cigarette ash and replied, "Maybe just a little."

Brandon chuckled upon hearing Zane's response, "So, don't rush. What you want is on the way; it will come eventually."

Zane looked at Brandon and asked, "Do you believe in fate?"

Leaning back, Brandon responded, "I still do."

In truth, many things in life are predetermined, and no matter how much you try to change them, they will still happen. It's like meeting someone - if it's destined to happen, it will, no matter how late.

The relationship that is meant to be will be.

Just like him and Sandy.

Zane finished his cigarette, crushed the butt in the ashtray, and spoke in a seemingly confiding tone, "Lately, she's been preoccupied with something from the past, which has been affecting her mood."

Brandon understood Zane's words without difficulty.

After Zane spoke, Brandon softly said, "These things can't be rushed. When the time is right, they will naturally come. You should stay calm and composed; you never know when they might just show up out of the blue."

Hearing Brandon's words, Zane chuckled, "I'll take your word for it. What's meant to be will come."

Brandon smiled, "Believe me, sometimes what I say turns out to be pretty accurate."

Zane nodded, "Alright, I'll trust you on this one."

"Trust me," Brandon affirmed.

After discussing this topic, Zane couldn't help but think about Anthony. He looked at Brandon and said, "Be cautious with Anthony; he can be unpredictable."

Brandon retorted, "Sandy told me that Anthony had helped her before; he was like her savior. I can't complain about that, can I?"

"He has feelings for Sandy. Can't you see or feel it?" Zane said in a hushed voice.

"I can see it, and I can feel it. But Sandy doesn't like him. Even if he's not the best person, he treats her like a gentleman," Brandon explained.

Brandon had Berton investigate Anthony's background, including his family history, when the news about Anthony and Sandy's encounter at the festival broke out. Therefore, Brandon knew about Anthony's feelings for Sandy. Anthony wasn't the type to cling to someone he liked or insist on getting what he wanted. He knew how to draw the line when it came to Sandy.

If not, when the incident at the festival was exposed, Anthony could have directly admitted to it or taken other actions to use the situation to his advantage. Sandy's reputation would have been ruined, and Anthony could have even used that to blackmail her. However, Anthony had done none of those things.

Even today, when fans surrounded them, Anthony promptly arranged for people to help disperse the crowd. Although Hiruma said Anthony was not in Manches City, Brandon believed Anthony was there. At the airport, Anthony was present and even watched them from a certain car parked in a parking spot.

Upon hearing Brandon's evaluation of Anthony, Zane couldn't help but laugh, "You hold him in high regard."

Brandon chuckled, "What? Is he a two-faced person, pretending to be someone else in front of people and showing his true colors behind their backs?"

Zane didn't directly confirm or refute Brandon's words; he simply said in a low voice, "Beware of others."

Brandon nodded, "I understand what you mean. Rest assured, I know what I'm doing."

Zane nodded, "You should go rest for a while too. I have a video conference to attend."
