Bonnie responded, "Don't just talk about me. What about you? When do you plan to return to M Country after this trip?"
Bonnie knew very well that Ivan wouldn't stay in Manches City just because of Madison's suicide attempt. This city brought him too many complex emotions, so leaving was the best option.
As for the matter between Madison and Yanis, the final decision rested with Yanis.
Ivan smiled at Bonnie, saying, "I'll wait until she's discharged, then I'll go back. There are many things I need to handle personally over there. Darin has already done enough for me during this time."
"You better thank Mr. Walsh when you go back. He's been working for you for free," Bonnie teased.
Ivan replied, "That's for sure."
With that, Ivan checked the time and said, "It's getting late. I should head back. You go inside."
Bonnie straightened her body and looked at Ivan. She said softly, "Ivan, although some things are difficult to let go of, if you don't look at the people around you, how can you let go? Besides, there are things that you must let go of, even if you don't want to. Do you understand what I mean?"
Ivan chuckled and said, "I understand. I'll remember Miss Cooke's advice."
Bonnie turned away and smiled. "You're so annoying. Just leave already."
Ivan nodded and said, "Go inside."
Bonnie responded with a sound and turned to enter the small villa. However, once she stepped inside, she didn't actually go in right away. Instead, she stood to the side and watched Ivan drive away. Only then did she turn back and walk inside.
"Ivan left?" Stella approached Bonnie while holding Mles.
Bonnie nodded and reached out to take Mles from Stella. "Why did you come out?"
"The two of us, as third wheels, shouldn't stay in there with straight faces, right?" Stella said softly.
Upon hearing Stella's words, Bonnie immediately understood what she meant and chuckled. "Zane got jealous, huh? He must have noticed Yanis talking to Ivan all night."
Stella nodded. "Definitely. He's a bit sour."
"Mr. Hawkins ate quite a lot tonight," Bonnie added.
Thinking of Brandon and Sandy, Stella couldn't help but think of Lane. She cautiously looked at Bonnie and said, "Bonnie, that Lawyer Phillips is really not bad."
Bonnie knew what Stella wanted to say and responded softly, "Yes, he's quite good. We've known each other for a long time."
"He looks interested in you," Stella continued, holding Mles.
Bonnie smiled. "He's indeed interested in someone. But for me, he can only be considered one of my best friends. I don't have any other feelings for him."
