‘Whatever the real reason may be, there’s one thing that I’m sure of. She couldn’t have done it out of her own will.

‘After all, who in their right mind will auction themselves off like they are a piece of merchandise?

‘At first, I didn’t want to poke my nose into this matter, but I’m a lady, too. I feel sorry for her. I just can’t help it. Perhaps I’ll see how it turns out and find a way to give her a hand.’

She was still in the middle of her thought when she heard the host’s voice again.
