Francesco could sense just how frightening the coldness emanating from Bonnie was. It was as if her aura could freeze up anyone, anytime.

He had sensed her intimidating aura last time. Now, he was sensing her fearsome aura all over again.

'His demeanor is very different from the backstory he told us. However, Billy just won't believe what I said…'

Realizing that Francesco wasn't saying anything for a long time, Bonnie couldn't help but feel impatient. "You still have yet to answer me. Do they have to frisk me?"

Her voice was laced with such coldness that he couldn't help but shudder. At the same time, he came back to his senses.

"That's right, Barrett. Mr. Billy demands it be done."

"Mm-hmm." She responded dryly with a calm tone. "I got it."

Francesco noticed her irritated expression and worried that Billy might think he was the one who ticked her off. So, he explained,

"They're going to frisk you, but you don't have to overthink it. Mr. Billy is aware that you hate to be touched. So, they will scan you with a device instead of touching you. There's nothing to be worried about."

She couldn't help but raise her delicate eyebrow.

'I didn't count on him remembering that I hate to be touched, much less taking action about it. It looks like Billy cherishes my skills more than I've imagined.'

"Gotcha. I appreciate that Billy made this arrangement."

"Yeah. Mr. Billy values you a lot. No one has had this sort of special treatment." Francesco said before gesturing for her to step forward.

'I can't believe I placed that much faith in Barrett and had high hopes for him. He slapped me in the face in a matter of a second. How am I supposed to retain my pride now?'

The longer he thought about it, the angrier he got. Then, he couldn't sit there anymore. Shooting up from his seat, he stormed over to Bonnie, wearing a stern expression.

"What's happening here?"

Bonnie, too, didn't count on this happening. She had walked through the first bodyguard's device just fine. To her surprise, the second bodyguard's device caught her.

'Based on what happened, the first bodyguard's device is probably used for scanning some obvious, dangerous stuff.

'The second bodyguard's device must've been upgraded and can detect what the first device couldn't.'
