Falcon had never experienced such bliss, and he had Bonnie to thank for that. If she had not taken the time to search for his family, he would have never known how much they loved him.

However, Falcon had wronged the Nidhoggs and also sided with their enemy. He even tried to make his colleagues from the Nidhoggs bow to him and control them. The more he thought about it, the more sorrowful and embarrassed he felt.

‘I just don’t know why I betrayed Boyd after he treated me so well. Why the hell did I do that? I regret it and hate myself so much. Now that I’ve made my bed, I must lie in it. Things can’t go back to the way they were.’

The guilt in Falcon’s eyes gradually turned into anguish. After all, he had made a massive mistake. He wanted to make amends but knew there was nothing he could do.

Back then, Falcon thought Bonnie simply obtained the herb for someone important to her. Otherwise, she would not have made such a sacrifice. Finally, he realized she searched for that herb for his father.

Bonnie sighed, feeling conflicted as she said, “An apology won’t change a thing after what you’ve done. That said, it’s good that you know the error of your ways and are willing to change for the better. I want you to carry this feeling through your punishment.”

Bonnie heard his apology and sighed with a mix of emotions.

“N-No…” Falcon shook his head, his eyes welling with tears. “I can’t ask for your forgiveness. I made a grave mistake and dishonored you. I’m just an animal! I entrust my parents to you, Boyd. I have no right to look at them.”
