The man looked at her after he finished his water and said indifferently, "Did you go out with Patrick?"

Lauren didn't feel any embarrassment at all after he found out. She just put down her bag, walked over to the couch and sat down, saying coldly, "What's the problem?"

"Aren't you afraid that Benjamin will be even colder to you when he finds out?"

"Don't you think he's cold enough to me now? He has suspended all my work, made me ridiculed in the field, and I'm wondering if he still has me in his heart or not. I'm afraid he doesn't even have any feelings for me."

Lauren was frustrated at the thought, she wished Benjamin knew it, and she wanted to see if Benjamin cared about her.

She had no way of contacting Benjamin right now, so she couldn't help but complain, "You told me to go to Benjamin and tell him that you did the collapse and that Harper knew about it a long time ago, but what then happened?
