"My phone is still in Chasel's hand. Can you tell Declan..."
"I have talked with him, and he approved your leave."
"Declan must be angry, for I made such a big mess right after signing a contract with his company." Eudora felt sorry.
"I have handled all your matters, so don't worry." Colbert pinched her cheek softly. "Have a good rest these days. I may come here later, for I have something to deal with in the afternoon."
Eudora nodded and said, "Don't worry about me. Put yourself first."
Suddenly, someone knocked on the door.
Colbert put down the glass. "I'll go have a look."
"Okay," she responded.
Colbert walked out of the ward, closing the door.
Outside the door, it was Corey.
He handed the paternity test result to Colbert and whispered, "The result shows that Ms. Stanford is not the child of Glenn and Yvette."
Corey was quite surprised to see the result.
If Eudora was not the child of Glenn and Yvette, then so wasn't Alva!
Colbert held the test result as his face turned sullen.
It was as expected.
He handed the test result to Corey, saying, "Destroy it."
"Got it, Mr. Steele," Corey responded.
Colbert added, "Arrange for some bodyguards immediately, preferably female, and let them guard the ward in shifts all day. Keep an eye on everyone going in, even the nurses."
He doubted Eudora's identity before, but now he felt more uneasy after ensuring that she was not the child of Glenn and Yvette.
A strange sense haunted him all the time.
Colbert returned to the ward, accompanied Eudora for a while, and then left the hospital in a hurry.
In Kenison City.
