Hearing Alva's question, Colbert remembered Eudora's fascinating appearance.
Even though Alva and Eudora looked exactly the same, they had many differences.
For example, their temperament, eyebrows, voices, and figures.
Except for Alva's elegance, she was not as good as Eudora in any aspect.
However, Colbert liked Eudora because she was unrestrained and straightforward.
After Colbert finished his words, there was a long silence on the other end of the phone.
"I've said that you are only suitable for the Steele family. That's all." The ruthless man said.
If Colbert's words before were like a cold knife piercing Alva's heart, his last sentence was like a fatal blow.
It hurt so much.
Alva burst into tears and even lost the strength to speak.
She closed her eyes in despair and hung up the phone.
"I've said that you are only suitable for the Steele family. That's all."
Alva didn't know whether to be happy or sad.
After a long time, she calmed down and stopped being distressed.
It was not that Alva was good at self-regulating but that she had been through too much.
No matter what, Alva was determined to be Mrs. Steele.
