"Do you really want to prove everything you said at the mansion was just a joke?"

The man's chilling aura made him seem like a demon emerging from hell. Eudora felt death's presence for the first time.

Driven by her instinct to survive, Eudora nodded vigorously, "I do, I-I really do. How can I prove it?"

"Very well." The frost on Colbert's face melted away, and his lips curled up into a faint smile.

Leaning close to her ear, his warm breath brushed against the strands of hair on her neck, sending shivers down Eudora's spine.

"I have a permanent solution."

"What… what solution?"

Colbert paused, enjoying her anxious look. Finally, he continued, "We will tie your tubes!"

"T-tie my tubes?!"

Eudora was frightened and stepped back, bumping into the sofa behind her and falling into a seated position. She stared blankly at Colbert, "No, no... I don't want that."

Having her tubes tied is so invasive… even though she can reverse it with surgery, there's a 50% chance she'll never be able to get pregnant again!

No way she could agree to that!

"Colbert, are you insane?!"

Eudora, who had been tough most of the time, couldn't help feeling horrified.
