I'm Your Sister, Brother Chow novel Chapter 47

He'd grown up with Chow since young, and he'd never seen Chow look at anyone with such intense eyes before.

Was Chow really just treating Vivian as a toy as he had said before?

To Vivian, the encounter with Raylan in the morning was most probably just a random coincidence. Although she had been very embarrassed, she knew that she wouldn't be meeting him very often in the future and just forced herself to forget about it.

After her afternoon classes, Vivian joined Aunt Blaine in the kitchen to stop her mind from wandering off.

She didn't know whether or not Chow would be returning that night, but she still made the mushroom soup that Chow had requested the last time.

However, just as she was done seasoning and preparing the soup, Vivian's phone started ringing loudly.

She quickly wiped her hands and fished her phone out of her pocket. It was Celine.

Because of her messed-up relationship with Chow, Vivian always felt guilty and uneasy whenever it came to Celine. But since Celine was the one calling her this time, Vivian couldn't just ignore her call.

After some hesitation, Vivian swiped at the screen and accepted the call before putting the phone against her ear. "Sister Celine, is there something wrong?"

Celine lowered her voice and said to Vivian anxiously, "Chow is drunk. He's too heavy and I can't carry him back. Can you come and help me?"

Vivian was rather surprised when she heard what Celine was saying. "He's drunk? But it's still so early in the day!"

It was only six or seven o'clock in the evening, at most. Even if Chow had had a lot to drink, he still shouldn't have been so dead drunk that he'd need two people to carry him back home like this.

What's more, wasn't Ethan the person whom Celine should be contacting anyway?

When Celine heard Vivian questioning her, her tone turned icy. "What? Did you think I would lie to you about this?"

"Of course not!" Vivian denied hurriedly. "W-Where are you guys now? I'll be right there!"
