Hannah suddenly looked at Daniela. Her eyes were wide open and sparkling. They were incredibly bright, attractive yet somewhat naive and foolish. "I've seen on TV shows. People always negotiate terms. Why can't I negotiate with you?" Hannah asked.
Daniela chuckled after hearing this. She began to question if Hannah had some mental issues. Was it because of Hannah's innocence that Steven couldn't get her out of his mind? She said, "Hannah, don't be a numbskull. I'm telling you to leave, and whether you like it or not, you gotta go. You don't have another choice. You, a lowly woman, aren't even worth negotiating with me."
Hannah responded, "If that's the case, I must say I'm sorry but I can't leave Harbor City, and I won't disappear from President Dixon's sight. After all, we've been together for so many years, and he still has some old feelings for me."
"You! Tramp!" This remark enraged Daniela, and she raised her hand to slap Hannah. However, she didn't manage to hit her. Hannah caught her wrist and said, "Daniela, even a cornered rat will bite. Don't push it!"
Daniela, being pampered all her life, was no match for Hannah. She put all her strength but couldn't break free from Hannah's grip, "Let go, or else..."
Hannah pushed Daniela away, quickly grabbed the cup of coffee on the table, and splashed it in Daniela's face. The force was so great, it made a slap sound. One would think Hannah had slapped Daniela. "This cup of coffee is a payback." Hannah said.
The coffee wasn't hot anymore, but Daniela was scared out of her wits, and let out a piercing scream.
Hearing the scream, the bodyguards outside rushed in, "Miss!"
While wiping her face with a tissue, Daniela shouted, "Teach this tramp a lesson."
Hearing the order, two men rushed towards Hannah, each grabbing one of her arms and pinning her against the table. Hannah was immobilized by the two burly men.
Daniela poured another cup of boiling water and splashed it onto Hannah's face. Seeing Hannah's face turn red, Daniela felt slightly appeased, "Open her mouth for me. She dares to defy me, so I'll make sure she has a hard time."
Hannah knew what Daniela was planning to do. Their usual tricks were disgusting. She clenched her teeth, but couldn't fight off the two burly men. One of them grabbed her chin, and the other kicked her in the stomach, causing her to instinctively open her mouth.
Daniela walked up to Hannah, reached out for the drug, "Give me the drug. I want to feed it to her personally. Once the drug takes effect, play with her. Also, record a video as evidence. I want everyone, including Steven, to see how slutty this woman can be."
Bang!
Just as Daniela was about to feed Hannah the drug, a loud bang echoed from behind them. The tightly closed door was kicked open from the outside, and a tall figure appeared in front of them.
Daniela looked at the person who came in, her face immediately drained of color.
Hannah looked at Daniela, smiling brightly, "Daniela, you want to harm me. Let’s see if you have the guts."
Daniela clenched her teeth, "You think he can save you?"
Hannah said, "Before he came, I had doubts about his abilities. But he was here, and from the look in your eyes, I knew whether he could save me or not. Let your men let go of me, or I'll give the Salazar family a hard time."
Daniela laughed, "Who do you think you are? You dare to threaten me?"
Jarvis said, "She might not dare, but what about me? And the Alexander family that supports me?"
Daniela looked at Jarvis, "Jarvis, this has nothing to do with you. Don't get involved."
Jarvis's voice turned stern, "Let her go first."
