“The snack I’d been craving was finally ready I paid for it and was just about to take a bite when Lucas showed up. Without a second thought, he snatched it out of my hands and tossed it into a nearby trash bin. He tossed my food, then had the nerve to ask why I’d eat something so unhygienic. He lectured me about how I knew better than to eat random food that could upset my stomach. 

“Sure, I know street food might mess with my stomach and I have no idea if it’s clean or not, but I just wanted a taste. Can’t eat this or that, life’s a real drag without those little pleasures Mentioning this, Rosie was still fuming She should ve stood up to him then, and showed him she was not someone to be pushed around. Suddenly, Hannah said, “Is Lucas trying to play daddy?” 

Rosie was like, “What do you mean?” 

Hannah replied. “He’s treating you like a kid. If he wants to be a dad so badly, why don’t you pop out a baby for him to take care of? Once he has a kid, he’ll shift his focus and stop pestering you” 

Hearing this, Rosie’s eyes lit up. “Yeah, that’s a brilliant idea. Why didn’t I think of that? I need to have a daughter ASAP! Let him spend all his time fussing over her and leave me alone. Then, I’ll finally be free.” 

When Rosie mentioned having a daughter, childless Cornelia was a bit envious, “Rosie, can I be your child’s godmother?” 

Rosie replied, “Sure.” 

Hannah chimed in, “I want to be the godmother too” 

Rosie added, “You and President Dixon have been married for a while, and he is almost 30. I think you guys should consider having a kid too.” 

Hannah once thought about having a child with Steven, hoping it could change their relationship. But she was too naïve. Steven never considered having a child with her. He once said that she could never be the one to bear his child, she was just a cheap substitute. 

From that day on, she realized she was just a stand–in for him. 

Thinking about it, Hannah hid her feelings behind a smile, “My job is a bit special. I can’t even announce my marriage, let alone consider having a kid in the near future.” 

Rosie said, “You’re a talented actress, not an idol. Your fans love your work, whether you’re married or not shouldn’t matter to them.” 

Hannah replied, “You think they don’t care? Trust me, they care! My fans are always pushing me to film. No sooner have I finished one movie than they’re asking about the next one. If they found out I secretly got married and want to have a kid, I’d lose a ton of fans. Right now, there’s this idea online that fans want female actresses to stay away from men or they’ll be unhappy.
