Hannah said, “Don’t ask me, I really have no idea. Seems like a lot of people in my fan club are loaded I heard the ones who splurge are mostly rich kids or bored wealthy wives” 

Rosie said, “There was a time when I was totally nuts about a celebrity, shelling out big bucks every day on his endorsed products. Right when I was on al roll, Lucas found out He thought I had a sugar daddy on the side and, in a huff, cut off my credit card felt so wronged but couldn’t explain.” 

Cornelia asked, “How much did you blow on that guy?” 

Hannah said, “Let me guess, at least a few hundred grand, right?” 

Rosie said. “Two million! I was planning to finance a movie with him as the lead, but it never worked.” 

Cornelia thought to herself, these rich people, money really did burn a hole in their pockets. They could do so much with two million. 

Hannah asked, “Who’s the celeb? Do I know him?”

Hannah changed the subject, “Let’s not gossip about others. Let’s talk about newlywed Cornelia and President Hartley.” She then asked Cornelia, “Anything about President Hartley that irks you, Cornelia?”

In Cornelia’s eyes, Marcus was perfect. 

Hannah and Rosie both exclaimed, “None?”

Rosie said, “Think harder. There’s bound to be something that bugs you.” 

Cornelia said, “As a couple, we should be lenient with each other’s flaws.” 

Hannah said, “You gotta think of one, or else we can’t continue this chat.” 

Cornelia pondered, “If I really have to pick one, it’d be that he’s a tad possessive. He can get jealous of anyone, even my good friend Zack.” 

Hannah said, “Men are just overly possessive. They can’t stand their wives even glancing at other men.” 

Rosie agreed wholeheartedly. “Absolutely” 

Cornelia had her own thoughts, “I think not only men are possessive, we women are the same. Would you like your husband ogling other women? I don’t. know about you, but I definitely wouldn’t like it. If he was checking out other women, I’d be green with envy.”
