Seraphina raised an eyebrow, unsurprised. She had expected as much. 

Ramona wouldn’t give up so easily. He still had the ability to fight with everything he had. 

“And Sivir?” Seraphina asked, thinking of Olivia without meaning to. 

Thomas smiled faintly and said, “Mr. Sivir’s taking some time off. For the next two weeks, the company is entirely in your hands!” 

Two weeks? 

Seraphina widened her eyes in surprise. Why had he taken the holiday without any prior notice? 

“He didn’t tell me,” she said, a bit flustered. 

Thomas said, “Mr. Sivir probably worried you wouldn’t approve.” 

Seraphina was at a loss for words. Did Sivir just dump all of those works on me? 

Had Sivir gone too far, making decisions without her consent? 

Thomas leaned in and revealed a juicy secret, “I heard Mr. Sivir took a mysterious woman overseas.” 

A mysterious woman? 

Sivir’s reputation was well–known–women always surrounded him, but none had ever caught his eye. 

Now there was one who had managed to make him abandon his work just to be with her. 

Seraphina knew that Olivia had always been interested in Sivir. 

Should she tell Olivia about this? 

With a heavy sigh, Seraphina decided against it. After all, Sivir’s happiness was important, and she didn’t want to complicate things. 

“Alright, bring me the work that needs to be done.” 

Thomas nodded and left the room.

Early that morning, the employees had sensed something was off. 

The usual hustle was gone, and even the gossipers had fallen silent. 

Orion stepped out of his car, straightened his suit, and walked into the building. Ken and the others quickly followed in tow.

Orion didn’t head to his office; instead, he went straight to the conference room. 

Ken opened the door for him. As Orion walked in, he immediately saw Ramona sitting at the center of the table with a dark expression on his face. 

Members from the various branches of the Droses sat to one side with the shareholders. 

They were all Ramona’s people. 

In just a few days, Ramona had managed to win over so many of the shareholders, showing just how confident he was, not to mention his clever methods. 

Orion couldn’t help but smile coldly, walking straight into the room and sitting across from Ramona. 

His presence seemed almost out of place, like a lone wolf in a den of lions.. 

Behind him, several department heads took their seats on the opposite side. It felt like a battle between two opposing political parties, with both sides glaring at each other. 

Orion’s sharp, predatory gaze swept over the room, and the others dared not lift their heads. 

What a big trap he had laid. 

After a long time, he chuckled and spoke with a slow and deep voice, “Good morning, Ramona.” 

Although there were a few older shareholders present, Orion didn’t feel the need to greet each one. 

He is used to being arrogant and commanding, and no one criticizes him for his arrogance. 

Ramona sneered coldly. As Ramona watched Orion’s smug demeanor, a flash of malice crossed his eyes. 

He had single–handedly raised an ingrate, who always defied him, and now it was time to teach him a lesson. 

Orion needed to learn that his position today was due to his generosity.
