The further he and Seraphina were from him, the better. 

A chill hung in the air. 

Seraphina took a deep breath and said, “Mr. Rockwell’s schedule is not within my control.” 

Orion smirked wickedly, his expression a blend of coldness and intensity. 

“Seraphina, you know what I mean. Reject him. Everything you want, I can give you.” 

Seraphina looked up at him.

He seemed confident. 

Of course, only Orion was capable of declaring this confidently and not being ridiculed for boasting. 

Orion was keenly aware that his level was higher than others. 

After all, if he were to throw two million at Seraphina’s face, she would feel insulted. 

She might very well try to smash him with 20 million in cash and kill him in the process. 

To avoid such a barbaric outcome, Orion had decided to take a more indirect route–investing the money where it would yield greater returns. 

Seraphina looked at him–he was elegant, regal, with those deep, beautiful eyes, and he was so perfect. 

But why did she feel like punching him? 

“Mr. Dros, I hope you understand.” She paused, inhaling deeply. “You’re a beneficiary from Wilson’s project too. It’s your investment, and you’re making a profit. How does your threat concern me?” 

She earned that money through her own efforts; why should she comply with Orion’s ridiculous demands? 

This man was shameless. 

Orion’s expression darkened, as he was the smallest beneficiary in the project. He had never placed much value on this minor gain, so he had overlooked it.

His eyes lowered, casting a shadow across his face. Calmly, he accepted Seraphina’s reproach without any sign of irritation. 

He sighed and shifted the topic to something else. 

But Seraphina had already exhausted her patience for the day. Using work as an excuse, she politely asked Orion to leave.

Ken revealed, “Mr. Ramona has secretly brought someone back from abroad. Looks like he’s about to make his move” 

Since Ramona had met with Seraphina and been taken away by Orion, he had been quietly gathering his strength. It was unclear exactly what he was preparing for, but his small movements clearly aimed to Counter Orion.
