After the initial shock wore off, Felicia was starting to get used to the idea of seeing Darya as a model.

It meant the woman had to work for a living, Felicia thought.

She examined the dress Darya wore and couldn’t wait to get her hands on it. ‘Where’s your boss? I want to talk

to her.‘

Bianca pointed to the door. ‘You are not allowed to be here. Leave before I ask security to throw you out.‘

Felicia ignored Regina’s quiet pleading. ‘Why should I leave? I’m a client. You and your friend work for the designer. The designer works for paying clients like me. Therefore, I outrank you.”

She turned to Darya, ‘Does she always talk like that? Like she’s the centre of the universe and everyone must

bow down before her.‘

Darya shrugged.

Bianca sighed, ‘How you survived three years of living under the same roof as her, I can never imagine.”

Darya smiled. ‘I mostly just tune her out. It’s like white noise.‘

“Hey! I’m talking to you!‘ Felicia tapped a foot, impatient. ‘Where’s the designer? Get her her

time.‘

‘And you can stop wasting mine,‘ Harley pushed the door open and strode in. ‘Who are you?‘

She knew there was trouble as soon as she saw the two women follow Darya and Bianca into the dressing room,

but she had to extricate herself from the horde of reporters first.

Felicia recognised the designer and went straight to the point. ‘The moon goddess dress. I’d like to place an

order, but I want to make sure it’s one of a kind. I need alterations to be made to the-

Felicia raised her chin. ‘I was invited to the show.‘

Harley frowned. ‘I don’t recall giving out an invitation to you. I’m afraid I’ll have to ask you to leave. This area is for employees only.‘

Regina spoke up, “The invitation cards are with me. We came together. This is Miss Felicia Cavanaugh. Her brother is Micah Cavanaugh.‘

Harley gave her a look of haughty disdain. ‘Never heard of the name before.‘
