Envy surged through Ava’s heart but it was replaced with fear when she looked at the 

handsome and tall man beside Chloe. 

At that instant, Joseph happened to spot Ava too, and looked at her indifferently. His indifferent gaze seemed to be extremely cold and fierce. 

A cold chill ran down Ava’s spine. She decided to observe others’ speech and behavior first. Today, she was here to appreciate the jewelry and the workmanship. She was nothing like that b*tch who came to attach herself to superior people. 1 

The pieces in the exhibition were limited nationwide. On top of that, they were sold through a bidding method. Only those with the highest offers gained the items. 

Before the exhibition officially started, Ava looked around as if she was looking for someone. She soon spotted a youth in casual clothes. Overjoyed, she walked toward the youth with her 

assistant. 

“Mr. Noah, nice to meet you,” Ava spoke in a gentle voice, taking the initiative to greet Noah. 

Noah looked at her and recalled how Calvin favored Ava because of Luciana, so he nodded lightly at last and revealed a soft smile as a form of response. 

“Mr. Noah, I’m the general manager of Summertainment. I heard you’ve been looking for someone to endorse Exotic Star’s products. I have a few suitable candidates in mind. Would you be interested in taking a look?” Ava took over a file from her assistant and handed it to Noah. “This is the information of a few popular and highly professional actors or actresses of 

my company.” 

Noah did not reject her. He read the information one by one before stating, “I’m sorry but 

none of them stand out to me.” 

“Not even one?” 

“No.” 

“How about looking through them again? The worst among them are C-list celebrities. Some of them were even involved in jewelry commercials before.” 

“None of them are suitable.” 

Ava’s face stiffened before she asked again, unwilling to give up, “What kind of style are you looking for?” 

Noah explained patiently, “It depends on their likeability.” 

With great reluctance, Ava walked away. Her instincts told her that Noah found her repulsive, but they had never met before.
