Joseph looked at Chloe beside him, figuring that she was impatient to know who had hurt Harold. She noticed his gaze and quickly said, "Don't worry. I want to know the truth, but I can wait. I'm worried about him as much as you are."

About half an hour after the doctor left, Harold slowly opened his eyes. After taking a moment to adjust to the lights, his eyes started to focus.

Joseph took a step forward. "Hey Grandpa, how are you feeling?"

Harold remained quiet. Having been in a coma for so long, he felt that his brain was foggy. Chloe was worried and called for the doctor. After the check-up, the doctor pronounced that Harold was fine and just had yet to fully recover.

"Mr. Joseph, you guys should get some rest. I'll watch over him."

Joseph had personally chosen this doctor, so he was not worried to leave Harold in his care. Besides, he would be of no help even if he stayed.

"All right." He then looked at Chloe. "You should get some sleep too."

Chloe wanted to refuse him but he grabbed her hand and dragged her out of the room.

"Mr. Joseph, please mind yourself. I'm engaged." Chloe shoved his hand away as she solemnly warned him.

Joseph's eyes turned cold. "Really? No one's here to see anything."
