Chloe smirked and smiled brightly. "Mr. Joseph, you flatter yourself."
"Really?" Joseph sneered. "Go ahead and pick it up here then. The helpers’ rooms if you go forward and behind is the garden. The call will end by the time you get upstairs to the guest room."
Hearing his words, Chloe did not back down. Not wanting to appear scared, she picked up the call.
"Coco, are you still with Emily?" Noah’s voice was gentle and pleasant.
Chloe unconsciously picked at the railing. She replied calmly, "Yeah, we stayed over at a hotel. I'll head home in the afternoon.
"Okay. Grandpa asked me if you're coming home for dinner. I promised I’d call and ask about it."
"The top chef from Estre will be coming over tonight, so of course, I'll be there. It's been a long time since I had seafood."
Joseph listened in on her conversation. She was not as distant as when she was with him, even sounding soft and coquettish. She used to be like that with him in the past.
"Okay, I'll be waiting for you."
Noah then hung up.
Chloe put away her phone, then turned around and left without looking at Joseph. He did not go after her and instead called Callum. He wanted to tell Callum that Xavia had hooked up with his son. Callum, on the other hand, told him a great secret.

Chloe went to Harold but found that he had dozed off.
The doctor whispered, "You can come and talk to him again tomorrow. He just woke up, so we shouldn’t ask him to recall the past too much. The most important thing for him now is to relax."
