Let Me Go, My Mafia Husband (Aria and Alessandro) novel Chapter 591

Chapter 591 My Mate
Suddenly, the air crackled with energy, and two divine figures appeared before me. The first was the High Priestess—my mother—and the other, the sacred appearance of the Moon Goddess herself.

“Selena, you can't be serious about threatening me, can you?” the Moon Goddess teased lightly, her voice carrying an air of amusement. But her casual demeanor only fueled my fury.

“How can you be so indifferent while I am in so much pain?” I challenged, my voice trembling with emotion.

“But you chose this path. What more can I do?” she replied with a shrug, her tone frustratingly calm.

“Moon Goddess, I love Alpha Zander, and you expect me to accept his death with happiness. Are you truly this heartless?” I scowled, tears streaming down my cheeks uncontrollably.

“I thought you would bring Zander back. He is innocent and has nothing to do with this battle,” I pleaded desperately, my voice cracking with sorrow.

“He had to die according to the prophecy, Selena. Neither you nor I can change that,” the Moon Goddess reasoned, her voice gentle yet firm. But her words fell on deaf ears as my heart refused to accept any logic tied to fate or prophecy. Nothing could justify taking Zander away from me. I was prepared to fight against destiny itself.

“But bringing him back is within your power, Moon Goddess,” I challenged fiercely, desperation and determination blending in my voice. “I know you can do it. Please, bring him back to life.”

“Why would I do that? If I begin to change destiny, the equilibrium of this universe will be disrupted,” the Moon Goddess replied with serene calmness, her smile a contrast to the turmoil in my heart.

“Can’t you do it for your descendant? What’s the point of being powerful if you can’t fulfill the wishes of your devotees?” I challenged, my desperation mounting in the hope that she would grant me the miracle of bringing Zander back to life.

The Moon Goddess remained composed, her expression unwavering. “Everything has a price, dear Selena,” she said softly, her voice carrying the weight of cosmic wisdom.

“I will pay any price. Just tell me what I need to do,” I pleaded desperately, my voice trembling with raw emotion. The thought of losing Zander forever was unbearable, and I was willing to sacrifice anything—even my own life—to bring him back.

"You have to sacrifice one thing that is very significant to you," the moon goddess proposed.

I had no clue what else could be more important in my life than Zander. I had loved him my whole life, and he was the only family I ever had. Nothing was more important than Zander, the man I loved, but he died and I needed him to come back to me. What else could I sacrifice?

"I am ready to sacrifice my mate bond," I said without thinking.

That was the only thing more valuable in my life, but without Zander, I didn't want a mate bond with anyone else. I never wanted anyone else but Zander, mate or not; he was the only one for me.

"Please, moon goddess, return my Zander to me. Give him his life back," I pleaded, tears streaming uncontrollably down my face. It seemed as if the earth would flood with the tsunami of my tears, but I didn't care about anything else. Only the alpha king could stop me from drowning the earth in my sorrow, and for that, he had to return. He had to be alive again.
