Nathael frowned, turned around, and quickly walked towards the bathroom, her knuckles slightly bent as she knocked on the door.

Inside, a woman sat on the ground wearing only thin clothing, her eyes rimmed red, looking pitiful and aggrieved.
Her fair skin was exposed. In the mist that hadn’i yet dispersed in the bathroom, she looked hazy and sexy.
Nathael hesitated, clearly taken aback by the unexpected sight.
Maggie regained her composure, instinctively covering her chest, her eyes filled with irritation. “Get out!”
This is so embarrassing!

Nathael didn’t budge. His lips pressed together lightly as he approached and crouched beside her. “Where are you hurt?”
His voice was low, his eyes still dark, but as he glanced at her, there was a hint of less tenderness than before.
Maggie’s lips were pursed lightly, her whole demeanour filled with indignation. There was a mist of tears. in her eyelashes, clearly showing her anger and frustration, but she refused to let herself cry.
What is this?
Did he call me over just to tease me? To see me embarrassed?
“Get out! Who let you in?” Maggie felt incredibly uncomfortable all over, her cheeks burning hot.
Nathael didn’t ask any more questions. He wrapped a towel around her and lifted her, carrying her to the bed.

Maggie turned away, not wanting to look at him. As she moved, she felt a sharp pain in her tailbone again, enough to make her want to cry.
That fall just now seemed particularly heavy. Even the slight tipsiness she had felt before seemed to vanish in the face of the pain.
Nathael frowned and spoke in a deep voice, “Let me take a look.”
“No!” Maggie blurted out, pulling away and wrapping the towel around herself tightly.

Hearing this, Maggie got even angrier. Tears streamed down her face uncontrollably, leaving light marks on her cheeks. She looked vulnerable and attractive, stirring a desire to comfort her.
“You’re so proud of yourself, huh?” Maggie glared at him, furious,
Little did she know, the next moment, Nathael pressed her onto his lap. With the towel between them, his hand landed on her body, applying a bit of pressure.

Maggie felt incredibly embarrassed, shaking with anger. When he touched the sore spot again, she couldn’t help but tremble all over, tears falling rapidly.
Feeling the warmth of her tears falling on his pants, Nathael was stunned for a moment.
The warm tears, through the thin fabric, felt like they were burning his skin, as if they landed on his heart.
The bone’s fine, Nathael said, his voice low.
Seeing him stop, Maggie swiftly got up and moved away, keeping her distance as she wrapped herself in the towel, saying nothing.
Just then, a knock sounded at the door.
Nathael furrowed his brow and rose to answer it.
