Let's Start All Over Again, Shall We (Maggie and Nathaniel) novel Chapter 251

Chapter 251 I’m Sorry, I Broke My Promise

Maggie smirked, her red lips curving up as she said, “Feel free to give it a shot, or we could make a bet. Let’s see if he’ll still stick around once he knows everything”

Maggie never doubted Nathael’s love for her. She was convinced that even if he found out everything, he’d still choose to stay with her.

After all, their past lives were far more challenging, and he was willing to sacrifice everything for her. Plus, they have the chance for a fresh start.

She just didn’t want to see him hurt.

The truth could be harsh and painful, and Maggie wasn’t sure if he’d feel heartbroken and disappointed. once he learned about her past actions.

She just hoped that if it were possible, he wouldn’t have to bear the same sufferings from their past lives.

I’m not going to leave him.

And I don’t want to.

Even if my time was running out, I still wished to be with him.

Or maybe, before I die, I’ll find an excuse to leave.

But at least for now, I still have a few years left.

Timmothy smiled, looking surprised by her decision. He said again, “But you should know that your time is short.”

Maggie met his gaze. “So what?”

Timmothy didn’t rush to respond, leaning back in his chair and twirling a string of jade beads in his hand, as if deep in thought.

Actually, Maggie was itching to get out of there.

It was as if a guillotine was poised above her head, and she was just waiting for it to drop.

What was Timmothy up to?

As Timmothy sized her up. Maggie was doing the same to him.

On his excessively pale face, a pair of pupils were pitch black and deep, dark as if devoid of any light, more. like two whirlpools.

His innocence and warmth from before were nowhere to be found. In that instant, he seemed dangerous and unsettling, giving off a vibe that was both menacing and sickly, enough to make one shudder and feel a bit unhinged,

I still think you should break up with him.” Timmothy said with a smirk and a sly look on his pale face

And what if I don’t?” Maggie’s eyes were icy.

Timmothy chuckled, leaning in a bit closer, and murmured, “Well, then you might end up regretting it.”

Maggie shivered, feeling a cold sensation creeping up from her feet. It wasn’t just the fear of the unknown. that unsettled her, but also the fact that Timmothy held all the cards, much like when she dealt with the Camerons.

Nobody knew how much he knew, and frustratingly, she was clueless.

“Do you hate him? What’s in it for you if I break up with him?” Maggie’s lips parted slightly as she eyed the man before her.

Timmothy chuckled. “I just adore you.”

His slow and gentle words stirred up an instant rage in Maggie, making her want to splash the water from her cup right onto his face.

Hmph! Seriously?

He’s been scheming since the

start, and now he’s suddenly claiming to adore me?

“Your so–called ‘adore‘ is just pathetic. Too bad, I’ll never feel the same way about you,” Maggie said with a sarcastic glint in her eyes, not holding back.

Timmothy lowered his gaze, his face growing even paler, and murmured, “Well, that’s upsetting.

Just then, Maggie’s phone suddenly rang.

Nathan

She frowned, deciding to ignore the call and return it later.

Standing up, Maggie looked at the seemingly harmless Timmothy. She warned in a cold voice, “You can’t dictate my life, and certainly not Nathael’s. In our past lives, you were just a lackey to him, and it’s still the same in this life.”

Then, Maggie grabbed her bag and turned to leave.

She wasn’t sure what happened to Timmothy in their past lives, but she vaguely recalled that, despite losing the power struggle in the Harris family, he had managed to survive.

After all, being the ninth young master of the Harris family, he wasn’t one to go down easily.

The realisation of his poor health only added to Maggie’s frustration.

So, did Nathael and I die because of him in the previous life?

Realising this, Maggie felt incredibly annoyed.
