Lucas sat on the couch with his laptop in his lap, headphones on, absorbed in his game. His demeanour was distant and silent.

“When did you get here?” Maggie gently asked when she saw him.

Lucas glanced up. When he saw it was Maggie, his usually expressionless and somewhat cold face brightened a little.

As Ronald finished speaking, Master Cameron couldn’t help but add, “I asked him and Vanessa about it. They said they only had a minor argument with you two yesterday.”
