Life After Prison by Silencieux novel Chapter 133

Chapter 133

“Megan, what are you doing?” Diane could not tolerate it anymore. “Severin is buying dad a car so dad can drive to work. And that’s very kind of him. Why should you ask Severin to buy you a car too? Can you afford the gas money if you have a car?”

“Hmph! Who said I can’t afford to put gas into the car? As long as I have a car, I’ll be able to afford it!” Megan snorted coldly and begged Severin again. “Oh, come on. You’re going to buy one anyway. Another one won’t hurt!”.

Severin smiled. “Actually, I don’t mind. I’m going to be your brother-in-law anyway. I have enough. money that would last me ten lifetimes. Buying a car for you is not a difficult task!”

“Really?” Megan was thrilled to hear that.

Even though she still thought Severin was just bluffing. If Severin was really as rich as he said, she would receive a car. Otherwise, this would be a good chance to test him out and she could reveal his true identity. Nevertheless, it was a win-win situation for her.

“But you have to call me brother-in-law ten times. If not, I’m going to buy a car for you. Severin smiled evilly.

“Not a problem. Brother-in-law, brother-in-law, brother-in-law…”

Obviously, Megan did not care about that. For the sake of the luxury car, she did not mind calling

Severin her brother-in-law.

Severin was delighted. As the saying goes, ‘Gifts blind the eyes. He just need to settle Megan and the rest were nothing. In the future, she would be on his side and help him. By then, Diane’s parents would have no choice but to accept him as Diane’s husband.

Maurice and Judith exchanged looks at each other. Their face looked weird. ‘Is our son kidding? Does he really have that much money? Perhaps the mysterious savant did give Severin tons of money. From the looks of it, it’s real.’

The thought of spending a lot of money hit Diane hard. She gave Megan a look. “Where’s your bottom line? I thought you despise Severin before. Why are you calling him so sweetly now?”

Megan raised his head. “I looked down on him because I thought he was poor. He’s probably not poor like I thought since he promised to buy a luxury car for me. Maybe I bark at the wrong tree.”

“Let’s go. It’s still early now. We can head over to Autocity to buy the car now. After that, we can drive it to have our lunch,” Felicia suggested because she was worried Severin would regret it.

“That’s right! That’s right! Severin, you’ve promised me. I already called you as you asked. If you are not buying the cars, there’s no saying what mom and I will do to you!” Megan quickly said.

“Sure. Let’s take the cab!” Severin said.

After a while, he said to Diane, “Hey, Diane. Why don’t we buy a new car too? It’s going to be more convenient if we have two cars.”

Diane gave Severin a look and said, “I think you are just feeling unfair that they have better cars and you want to feel it yourself too!”
