Chapter 380
“Outside of the city?” Severin frowned and his face turned sullen. “Are they leaving Brookbourn? We won’t know which city they’re heading to if they’re leaving Brookbourn!” After ending his sentence, he suddenly thought of something and said to them, “Do any of you know who has built villas or manors outside the city?”
After thinking for a moment, Larry said, “Let me think. Aside from the big villa that the Cedar Gang built on a mountain, there seems to be one near a lake too! It’s owned by Rufus of the Chavezes.”
“Rufus?” Severin frowned when he heard this.
For some reason, he recalled the scene where Rufus knelt in front of him and licked his shoes last time. In addition, Rufus had not been unusually quiet in the past few days, and Severin was quite sure that Rufus was behind the kidnapping.
As a precaution, however, he asked, “The Horsfields didn’t build any big villas outside the city, did they?”
“Not at all,” Larry said confidently.
“The Zelankos and the Longhorns do have villas in the suburbs though!” Blade added.
“It can’t be them. The likeliest suspects as the Chavezes!” Severin clenched his fist and said to Larry, “Do you know the approximate location?”
“I do.” Larry nodded.
“Okay, we’ll go together then. It’ll be too slow to drive, and I’m worried I won’t be able to make it in time!” Severin nodded and immediately grabbed Larry’s arm.
“Driving…is too slow?” Larry had a confused look on his face and had no idea what Severin meant. If one drove up to a hundred miles per hour, then not even the profound masters might be able to catch up. As a result, he figured that driving was the fastest way.
The next second, he received the shock of his life when Severin held his arm and leaped into the air all of a sudden. Severin had practically flown into the air and appeared on the top of a tall building not too far away.
