After they left, Rowan walked up to Jasper. He lowered his voice and asked, “Mr. Laine, do you want to show them who’s boss?”
Rowan had encountered a similar situation before. With his temper, naturally, he felt they should give Homer a taste of their own medicine. If he directly asked someone to teach Homer a lesson, this matter would be settled. However, that was not always the right thing to do.
“No,” Jasper waved his hand. “Can’t you see that they just want money?”
“It’s obvious, but I didn’t expect them to do such a thing. They’re even such a huge name.”
Rowan slammed his hands down on the table, his anger beyond words. In reality, Rowan almost could not hold himself back when they were negotiating earlier.
The other party was really going too far!
If it was not for fear of affecting Jasper’s reputation, he would have taken action long ago.
“By the way, did they say they’re going to file a lawsuit just now? Mr. Laine, although we are not afraid, should we also take precautions?” Rowan asked worriedly.
“That’s not necessary either.” Jasper narrowed his eyes.
“When they say that they are going to file a lawsuit, they’re actually trying to scare us. This about it, they don’t have any evidence of plagiarism from us. There are only a few similarities between those two cars. So even if there is a lawsuit, they won’t be able to win.”
To Jasper, evidence was the most important thing. Now, Jax had no evidence at all, so because of this, Jasper was not scared.
“Alright, just keep an eye on what they’re doing these days. It should be fine. Don’t worry about the rest, I’ll handle them.” After saying that, Jasper left the meeting room.
Rowan looked at Jasper’s back, nodded thoughtfully, and then grabbed his phone.
