Wilbur's expression was ashen. "She said no, and her attitude was terrible."
"The nerve she has!" Faye scoffed. "Well, we won't play nice either. Report her for slander right now, and have the legal department sue her. Give her a taste of jail and see how she acts then."
No one said anything after that, but everyone knew that Faye would not even have to lift a finger. Everyone else present was more than capable enough of getting it done. Flora Duvall would not be able to retaliate in the slightest, and Wilbur would not even have to show up.
Yet Wilbur gave it some thought, and said, "That's a little drastic, come on. She is still a kid, let's just give her another chance."
Faye looked at Wilbur. "Okay, since you're fine with it. We'll give her one more chance. I'll tell the legal team to send her a letter explaining how serious the matter is. Let's hope she wakes up."
Wilbur nodded, and Faye made the calls at once.
Wilbur was nothing but annoyed then.
He had been made viral on the internet out of nowhere, insulted and cursed for something he did not do at all.
A mere look at the comments was enough to make him flare up.
The comments were so vile that they had entered the territory of death threats, and personal attacks on his appearance.
Those insults were harsh and difficult to swallow even with how powerful Wilbur's social status and spirit energy was.
Anyone would have crumbled under such pressure a long time ago.
Wilbur had finally experienced just how terrifying cyberbullying could be.
Just then, Elsa spoke up with a frown. "Also, the only reason they haven't found your number is because it's considered classified information. Your phone would've been blowing up with endless calls and death threats in your voicemail and text message inbox otherwise."
Faron glanced at Elsa, knowing that she was only saying this because she felt like Wilbur was being too kind.
Faron honestly agreed with Elsa, nodding in a rare gesture of support for his cousin.
At last, Faye said, "Alright, let's not think about that for now. It's rare that everyone's here. Let's go out for dinner and drinks."
The others did not want Wilbur to be plagued with frustration and called out in agreement at once before yanking him off of the island.
