Both men wheedled for a while more before Hugh finally let out a chuckle and made his way over to the microphone.

"Everyone here is undoubtedly an elite member of the Exodus Province business industry, so I won't waste your precious time. On behalf of the Exodus Business Chamber Alliance, I'm sure that working with the Kiwanis Chamber of Commerce will yield great results in terms of development for all of Exodus Province, and I sincerely wish the best for everyone. Keep up the good work, and we will only prosper from here on out!"

The crowd clapped and cheered, and Hugh gestured for Jan to take the stage politely.

Jan smiled, then went up to the microphone. "Thank you for all your hard work. I'm sure you all know that the Kiwanis Chamber of Commerce is the best in all of Dasha, with peerless connections and resources. Your choice to work with us is definitely an invaluable addition to our chamber, and our collaboration will bring all of you remarkable benefits as well. The cheers were practically deafening.
