Wilbur burst out laughing, shaking his head. "I truly don't know where you people get the confidence to be acting like this. It's hilarious."
"You…"
Dani trembled in anger at Wilbur's words, unable to get a word out of her own.
To Dani, the people in this room were indeed upper-class men, society's most elite individuals.
Wesley and the others were mere low lives, whose misery was only their fate.
Someone coming along with these low lives would never ever be able to understand what it meant to have power.
For a low life to humiliate her like this invoked such anger in Dani that she could not take it at all.
"Take them out of here and bring them to a hotel room! I'm going to have a good chat with them once this is over," Dani fumed, her gaze murderous as she barked out orders at her bodyguards.
Just then, Vale Yoma of Yoma Corp, Laurent Marshall of Marshall Corp, and Chancy Webber of Webber Corp had gotten on the stage and were currently in the middle of taking pictures with Hugh and Jan.
The reporters could hardly take out their cameras quickly enough, snapping away at the stage and lighting it up with blinding flashes.
Just then, however, Wilbur got to his feet and began to clap enthusiastically.
The entire room had been silent then, staring at the five men taking photos on stage while waiting for their turn to join.
Wilbur's applause seemed a little out of place.
The crowd turned around in conclusion, and all eyes were on Wilbur at once.
Dani saw this and hurried to stop the bodyguards.
It seemed a little inappropriate to drag someone out by force at a time like this.
