"God, you're so f*cking ungrateful! Do you think you would have been able to get into a school like that if I hadn't slept with the dean, huh? Do you think you'd be able to have meals I would never even dream of having if I hadn't slept with the rich students?"
Monica did not hesitate to admit to everything she had done in response to Eliana's accusations.
Wilbur did not feel that it was appropriate for him to comment on another family's affairs, nor did he have the right to do so.
But he needed to get to the bottom of why those men showed up in the first place and took out a card before tossing it at Monica. "There's a hundred thousand dollars in there. It should be enough to last you a while. Stop doing what you're doing anymore. You're hurting Eliana all the same."
Wilbur then turned to an envious-looking Betty. "Ma'am, your business here doesn't seem to be doing very well either. Why don't you sell me some shares? That way Monica can work here, and I can get you lots of customers to relieve your financial stress. How's that?"
Betty lit up, nodding profusely. "Of course, of course! I'll even sell you the whole inn if you want it, Mister Penn!"
Wilbur nodded. "It's a deal, then. Let me find out why they came here first, then we can talk about the details later."
He got up to wake the men up so he could interrogate them. Just as Wilbur came up to the eight tied-up men, one of the men's phones started ringing.
