Despite the wounds, it seemed as if Gobo did not sense any pain at all. Instead, he howled as he continued to charge forward.
The super cannon could not get a fixed aim on Gobo anymore, and Ryder took out his Alloy Dagger and ran toward Gobo.
Wilbur crossed his arms in front of his chest, watching the battle.
Both parties collided as Gobo swung his fists at Ryder relentlessly, a murderous expression on his face.
Despite being burly and clumsy, Gobo was strong enough for each of his blows to pack a punch. As such, Ryder had no choice but to avoid them.
However, Ryder himself was a skilled enough fighter. His combat skills were a force to be reckoned with too.
The Alloy Dagger slashed and swiped, and Ryder was able to wound Gobo considerably even as he avoided the other's attacks.
Gobo's animalistic instincts seemed to be triggered even more by his newly-inflicted wounds. He howled and roared as he continued to attack Ryder.
The battle between them was exhilarating.
A few minutes later, Ryder took the opportunity to stab Gobo right in the heart.
To any ordinary person, this would have been a fatal blow or done some severe damage to even a cultivator.
However, Gobo did not seem to react to it at all. Instead, he responded by punching Ryder in the chest.
Blood sprayed from Ryder's mouth as he was sent flying over ten meters backward.
His chest heaved as blood dribbled from the corner of his mouth. It was clear he had taken quite a hit.
Ryder took a few heavy breaths and charged forward once again to fight against Gobo.
There were now more than ten gashes on Gobo's body, with the wound across his chest looking especially bad.
However, he seemed to be oblivious to the pain, not backing up in the slightest as his attacks grew even more vicious. Slowly, it seemed like Ryder was about to lose.
Wilbur frowned but continued to watch.
