Unexpectedly, those people fell on their knees and started prostrating themselves before Wilbur, mumbling something about Wilbur being the true immortal sent down to this world to vanquish evil.
Wilbur looked at them and sighed. He walked up to Booker and said coldly, "I'm free now. Let's have a talk."
"Sir, I mean, Master! Please spare me! I was blind. I didn't know how great you were. I'm undeserving!"
Booker was completely terrified, slapping himself as he spoke. After a few times, his face was all swollen from his own slaps.
The rest of his subordinates were beside themselves in disbelief. They had never encountered a zombie before.
To make things worse, this man standing before them completely decimated the zombies with just a single punch, and to top it all off, the last zombie was truly terrifying. Just the aura coming from it alone almost made them pass out, much less the terrible appearance it had. They thought they had run into a demon that was there to take their lives.
However, despite how powerful that zombie was, it was still taken out in one punch by this man. It could be seen just how powerful he was.
There was no way he could be a mere mortal. He must be some sort of immortal!
To think that they actually thought of blackmailing this guy earlier. It was truly a stupid move.
Seeing Booker and his subordinates shaking in fear, Wilbur scoffed and said, "Go back and fix up Yanfren's family grave. As for you, resign from your position as the village secretary and work a proper job. Otherwise, someone will come and take care of you even if I didn't."
"Yes, I'll resign and take up farming. I'll do as you say, Master." At that moment, Booker would do anything Wilbur said just so he could keep his life.
Wilbur looked at Ryder and Yanfren, then said, "Let's go."
The two nodded and hopped into the car. With Ryder being the driver, the three went back to Seechertown.
Yanfren was excited and stared at Wilbur with admiration in his eyes.
