The Yves family members exchanged glances. Braxton really was putting Wilbur on the highest of pedestals here.

Then again, of course he would. Wilbur had Mister Grayson on his side, after all.

Wilbur smiled. "I wouldn't go as far as to teach him a lesson. We can be friends, though."

"That works too! Justin, have a drink with your friend."

Justin hurried to raise his glass, toasting Wilbur respectfully.

Wilbur drained his glass and turned to look at the Eagle City Princes.

These men had long been scared out of their wits, standing there in a daze.

Wilbur turned out to be someone even Justin could not afford to mess with, and they had offended him greatly. What was going to happen to them now?

Just then, Braxton frowned. "I told you before not to be so close to those businessmen. It doesn't look good for you at all. Tell them to leave."

"Yes, Dad." Justin waved a hand, and the Eagle City Princes ran for their lives.

It could be said that Braxton had actually protected them, or they would be done for if Wilbur were to demand an explanation.

The banquet continued in full swing after that, and Braxton even had a few drinks despite not touching a drop of alcohol in his daily life.

Over two hours later, the party finally ended.

Braxton bade a tipsy farewell to Wilbur, inviting him to come over as a guest anytime. Wilbur chatted briefly with them, and the Yves family sent the Yaegars off.

At last, the rest of the Yves family members returned to Asher, but they were all looking at Wilbur and Faye.

Faye said, "Grandpa, we're pretty busy with work over at Seechertown. We've got to head back after this, too."
