“What’s the matter?” Wilbur frowned at the dumbfounded Faron.
A while later, Faron shook his head. “Dude, you’re crazy. This place had to be warth almost a billion dollars. Even I would never receive something like this.”
“Yeah, but that’s because you never had the guts to say yes. I’m pretty sure you’d own this and much more if you were just a little bolder, Wilbur said.
Faron chuckled. “Yes, I suppose you’re right. I’d be in jail if I had been bolder”
“You know that better than me.” The two of them walked past the square in the middle of the island, entering the forest at the
back
There were about thirty to forty homestays slightly hidden in the forest, looking, elegant and sophisticated.
Wilbur found the closest one that was empty and went inside.
The house was equipped like a regular homestay, with the basic necessities and some decor.
“Have a seat!” Wilbur gestured for Faron to sit down. He walked around the room first, then sat down next to Faren.
“Here, have some tea.” Faron had brewed a pot of tea for Wilbur and poured him a cup.
Wilbur took a sip from the exquisite porcelain rup before putting it back on the table. “Why do you like cultivation?”
“Who wouldn’t?” Faron said. “You can call upon the power of nature whenever you want. It’s so amazing
Wilbur chuckled. “Cultivating is a lot harder than you think. You need to consider all the dangers and perils you might encounter before making such a decision.”
“Will my life be at risk? Faron widened his eyes.
“Your body’s constantly being challenged while you cultivate, physically and emotionally. One wrong step could cause you to lose your mind, or even your life in more perilous conditions. It’s very dangerous.”
“Well, I’d still like to cultivate. I’m sure I’ll be able to live a long life as long as I’m careful.”
