With a loud roar, Anshi charged forward. Chris, seeing Anshi coming, flashed a contemptuous smile. He clenched his fist and then threw a punch. There was a loud bang as Chris's fist sent Anshi flying. Immediately, a cold murderous intent flickered in his eyes. Chris taunted Anshi, waving the Dragon Emblem fragment in his hand, "Want this? Come and get it if you dare!"
Finishing his words, Chris stuffed the Dragon Emblem fragment into his pocket, completely disregarding Anshi. "Damn it!" Anshi, seeing Chris's arrogant and overbearing attitude, turned livid with anger. "Go to hell!" Without hesitation, Anshi charged at Chris once more.
Anshi had waited a long time for the opportunity to ambush Ron Jefferson for the Dragon Emblem fragment. But he never expected that after enduring so much, he would be made a fool by Chris. Furious, Anshi dashed forward, a sharp dagger appearing in his hand. His eyes flashed with killing intent. For Anshi, failure was not an option. Even returning to the Hall of Death would not spare him from the consequences.
"Seeking death!" Chris sneered and then, with a forceful punch, created a gust of wind. Another loud bang echoed as Chris stood still, but the immense force sent Anshi flying. It took Anshi dozens of meters to steady himself. He looked at Chris with a gaze filled with horror.
"Kill!" Although Chris's strength exceeded his imagination, Anshi did not give up. For him, surrender meant death. He had no way out. Anshi charged once more, the dagger in his hand moving swiftly, aiming for Chris's throat. But who was Chris? How could he be harmed by a mere Anshi?
With a crisp snap, Chris's fist smashed onto Anshi's wrist. "Ah!" Anshi's wrist was instantly broken, and the dagger fell to the ground. "How is this possible?" Anshi raised his head, looking at Chris in shock. It was hard for him to imagine the extent of Chris's strength. A Transcendence level expert like himself was completely powerless in front of Chris.
"There's nothing impossible, you're just too weak!" Chris snorted. Swift as lightning, he grabbed Anshi's neck. Without a word, he exerted force, and with a crack, Anshi's body went limp. Thud! Chris threw Anshi's body to the ground. Anshi lay there, eyes wide open, a look of disbelief frozen on his face.
Anshi, a Transcendence level expert, a dominant figure wherever he went, an agent of the Hall of Death, was completely defenseless against Chris. Ron Jefferson was dumbfounded, trembling involuntarily. It was hard for him to imagine that Anshi, a Transcendence level expert, was as helpless as an ant in front of Chris.
Ron Jefferson had cultivated the Dragon Emblem fragment for decades. With his strength, he was considered a prominent figure in the present world. Yet, facing Chris, he felt only despair and powerlessness. After killing Anshi, Chris turned around, intending to leave. Seeing Chris about to depart, Ron Jefferson urgently shouted, "Chris, you took my Dragon Emblem fragment, you promised to help me, you have to help me..."
Chris glanced at Ron Jefferson, mocking, "Don't worry, you won't die just yet. Shedding a little blood won't do you any harm!"
