Every one of the Collins family had a weird way of thinking.
Laurence glared at Loretta and said, "Alfred is right. Even I can't resist James's attack, let alone him. It's useless to blame him."
After the anger, Laurence gradually calmed down.
He knew that it was all Chris's plan.
No matter how the Collins family struggled, it was in vain.
It was better to find a way to get through this crisis than to blame Alfred.
"But..."
Loretta was still unwilling to give up.
"Well, stop it."
Laurence shouted before Loretta finished her words.
He turned around and patted Alfred on the shoulder. "Alfred, Loretta did that on impulse just now. Please don't mind it."
Alfred was gloomy as he heard this.
The father and the daughter made fool of him and thought he was an idiots.
However, he didn't dare to show his dissatisfaction at all.
With a big smile on his face, Alfred said, "What are you talking about? How can I blame Loretta? She is the one I love most."
Seeing this, Laurence nodded with satisfaction. "I'm happy to hear this. You deserve to be the son-in-law of the Collins family. You can go first and deal with the wound on your face. Don't let others see it, or it will be embarrassing."
"Yes."
Alfred left in a hurry.
Looking at Alfred's back, Loretta complained, "Dad, why are you being so polite to this loser?"
"Ha ha."
Laurence chuckled with inexplicable coldness in his eyes. He said indifferently, "You don't understand. That loser is still useful. Now we need to pacify him for the time being."
"He is just a loser. How can we use him?"
Loretta said with disdain.
Laurence didn't explain.
